Yeah Sheff Weds would have been good, but Plymouth? Meh.

I hope our league rivals remain in the cup for as long as possible.

Gutted. We battled and defended well and in the end concede from a set piece which I thought was a soft foul. James Ball had two chances at the end which he should have done better with. Would have fancied us against Colchester it we had got through. Good to get a record 3,700 crowd in.
You have come a long way since Tranmere beat you 9-0 in 2017. Ground is a lot better now as well. Have Birmingham City helped with that for having the womens team play there.

Excellent second half display, fairly undeserved win for Dale in the end, but that’s football. As Jacob says, not quite as gutting that we wouldn’t have been facing Wednesday anyway, but the £60k TV fee would have been nice. On the other hand, a weekend off for the squad to rest and recover.

Quite the plethora of lower league scouts there tonight, Nicky Cowley, Rotherham’s head of recruitment, and Lincoln’s ‘head of football’, whatever that means
Not sure we have a Head of Football anymore, but we have a Director of Football (Jez George).

Dion Dublin was talking like he’d never seen a football ground before. Great start, anyway.

Hundreds of Stockport fans still streaming in when they went in too, sad times.

Chally under pressure already?

Challinor appears to have been working really hard on own goals in training since he joined.

That one’s an absolute classic.

Challinor is learning the hard way that a back three and the ultimate crab pairing Croasdale/Collar only leads to bad things.

Sarcevic blowing his chance of some #narrative in front of the away end. Fun game.

Good to see Bolton join this feast of defending with… a completely pointless hack at someone’s legs in the box? Good entertainment.

This is both the best and worst game of football I’ve ever seen. What are they doing!?!

Well by some distance Stockport were the worst side I’ve seen this season, but Challinor has obviously made a big difference.

We aren’t even playing that well at all either. We look lethargic. No one is really running hard. We’ve been gifted this so far

Sarcevic trying far too hard to impress at the moment and it’s not ending too well!

Good game to watch this though so far
