We got Chelsea away in the rehearsal!

Shite draw. I'm not even sure it's good enough for TV, even with Burnley being a PL side and the away allocation isn't going to be great either. Meh.
About 2500 allocation at Burnley I think, shitty tiny wooden seats as well but I guess you'll be stood up all game anyway so won't really matter.

Guaranteed tv for Sutton pity its not at Arsenal as that would have made you a fortune.
As for us o well 5th round of the cup! Can't be bad!
Just hope it's not the Monday game and I can get a ticket as it appears they'll be sensibly priced.

Yeah for prem games but their fans are pretty certain we'll get the whole stand which just over 4000, still be a mad scramble for tickets mind!

Our game at Burnley is on BT Sport, 12.30pm on the 18th February.

£250k TV fee...

Well that's certainly softened the blow of drawing Burnley for me. Probably means we aren't going to be much short of earning a million from the cup this season, probably more than all our previous FA cup years since inception altogether!

I honestly think you can beat them. Genuinely hope you do, getting into the quarter finals would be a immense achievement.

We've asked for 7,500 tickets from Burnley but there's no chance we'll get that. I'd be surprised if we get 4,000 to be honest.

Only £30 to stand to watch the Woolwich nomads, bargain!
We cashed in last time too and put our cup prices up, we charged £15.

Supply and demand innit? After all, this is the tie of a lifetime for Sutton Utd. If people didn't want to watch them play Arsenal, they wouldn't pay for a ticket.

Shitty move Sutton.

Nothing wrong a couple of quid, maybe fiver premium as this is not a normal game but that's just plain taking advantage of people.

Is this their move of making up for them not being drawn away at the emirates? Because I doubt even Arsenal would charge anywhere near that amount if it were the other way around.

I can't make a case for any extra charge for fans when Sutton will have made almost three quarters of a million pounds from gate receipts, prize money and tv money. Ripping off their loyal fans is nothing short of shameful imo.

As a life long Sutton fan, I have no problems paying £30 for what will be the biggest event in our clubs history. Anyways do you know how much it's going to cost to host this match (extra stewards, catering facilities etc, not to mention any costs Arsenal occur in traveling to the game can be taken from the gate receipts)? Oh, and after costs our take home will be less than half of each ticket. Sure Arsenal may have charged less for ordinary seats, but they still would have made a greater profit than we will from hosting this game.

I don't know any long term hardcore Sutton fan who feels ripped off (after all we have the cheapest season tickets in the league) and the pricing is in line with previous FA Cup rounds (we've charged an extra £5 per round)

At the same time you'll make £240K from TV money plus money from the other rounds. From an outside perspective it seems steep is all.

My season ticket cost £85, and I'm an adult with no concessionary rights. And that was after a promotion season. It's the biggest game in our history and we're a club run by volunteers who need every penny. We're never going to get this far again, this tie can keep us on a safe financial footing for years

The gate receipts are chicken feed compared to the tv & prize money though so why sting the fans? If gate receipts were the only source of income I could understand it.

One thing is that the gate receipts are split with Arsenal. Also it's a one off game that is going to be expensive to put on. We're going to sell out so I don't think many people actually care. TBH I think paying £20 to watch two average national league teams is a far bigger piss take

Did you charge £30/£35 vs Leeds? Why would the overheads for arsenal be any higher? Leeds was a sell out too wasn't it?

I can half see where Sutton have come from, but it's hardly worth hiking the price up in a 3k Stadium in the full scheme of things.
