Shame Orient have been rather wasteful in front of goal. They’ve had plenty of opportunities. Stoke have been shocking. They are so slow. You certainly can’t tell which team is the Championship one and which is L2.
Think they fans are pretty hacked off with things atm .

Yep and don’t think this game is helping. They already hate O’Neill without this performance. If Orient get the goal they deserve that may do it.

Unlucky Orient, were the better team for much of that game and 2-0 is not in any way an accurate summing of how it went.

No - seem to be going nowhere despite actually being quite high in the table .

My dad's a Pools Fan, just shown me the highlights where he's celebrating the first goal :bg:

And Croydon's not a bad place for a drink if you know where to go.

Yeah Stoke were certainly there for the taking but my god we was wasteful in that first half, Drinan in particular has to score that early header and Harry Smith also should've done better with his one on one. I think if we scored first we'd have won.

Second half our lack of game time I felt caught up with us I felt, we never really put them under any proper pressure and they kept the ball well at times to be fair to Stoke. Second goal they caught us pushing men forward.

Performance wise we did well but faded which was expected.

Badly need some signings for some strength in depth because we played a CM out of position at RWB and most of our bench is youngsters.

Phew, I was just going to post that our game with Hartlepool would now need to be moved, then I read that the next round d isn't until 4th Feb.

Let's hope they are distracted the week before..

If Kidderminster are not on tv this time, then I give up.
No doubt our tv licensing money will be spent on man united on tv again if they will tonight.
They will be - only a case of when .

Looking at the draw, surely Kiddy v West Ham is nailed on for TV...under the lights on Friday night would be a great way to start Fourth Round weekend. After that it is really hard to pick games, with the team from a higher level largely being drawn at home.

From the all Premier League ties it could be Everton v Brentford or maybe Spurs v Brighton...where the (historically) bigger team is at home but the visitors might fancy their chances. I wouldn't be surprised if Cambridge v Luton makes the cut, possibly for the Sunday afternoon game, two unfancied teams but could be a half decent game.

Looking at the draw I’d say Forest v Leicester is nailed on as it’s kind of a derby game. Kidderminster it should not even be a question, it just has to be. Then they’ll probably go for Man Utd if they get through or Liverpool because of the viewing figures. Would like for Hartlepool to get on but with it being at Palace I suspect they’ll go elsewhere.

PROPER footy fans like ourselves on this board would much prefer to watch Cambridge v Luton than some of those all PL ties mentioned. Sadly, that's not the case for a load of people who think football doesn't exist below the top flight, and that it's also a TV show.

I remember our third round tie at home against Rochdale (both going well in the NL and League One respectively) a few years ago was being screened in America on Fox Soccer or something. People there, and the UK based dodgy streamers were complaining why Southampton v Fulham or something shite like that wasn't on.

As the third lowest side left in the draw, and the sole representative of League Two, I'd like to think we'd get a look-in for TV, though like others I suspect that the fact that it's at Selhurst Park will count against us. We may end up with the worst of all worlds, with a 12:30 KO to accommodate overseas TV, but no national coverage.

This will be Palace's third attempt to beat us in the FA Cup after we knocked out Terry Venables's "Team of the 80s" in 1978, and then became the first FL team to stick it to the self-appointed Premier League elite in 1993. A hat-trick would be very nice, but the odds are really stacked against us this time. I like this Palace team, and expect they'll put us away with ease.

I don't think it's too bad a draw, could've been worse. Its not a biggie but better than away at some run of the mill Championship outfit. Good day out for you lot we should take quite a few.

I noticed tonight when Lineker was going through the fixtures he only highlighted two: kidderminster v West Ham; and chelsea v us. I did wonder if that was tipping the BBCs hand.

edited to add: Chelsea are flying out that weekend for the World Club cup, suspect they will make a case for the Friday game.

Wonder who has first pick this time - think it's ITV.

They will take the Kidderminster game with BBC choosing Forest v Leicester.

Then the rest will follow.
