Love that. FGR have been absolutely outplayed by St Alban's.

Great to see ex-City captain David Noble rolling back the years pulling the strings for the saints. What a performance from the 40 year old crock.

From a neutral perspective I thought St Albans v FGR was a terrific game of football to watch. Everything an FA cup 1st round tie should be. The idiots at the BBC were at it again, missing the winning goal.

Fantastic game, we screwed up our formation and team selection, were clumsy and messed up too many things, St Albans had flair and pace and thoroughly deserved their victory.

One of his shots during the game went so wide it went out for a throw too, I was there to see it.

It wasn’t a shot. It was a perfectly-placed Jonny Wilkinson-esque kick to touch. All part of Rakish’s master plan.

A polite request to Devon Lad.
If you are going to lift my comments on Exeweb please, at least, rephrase them in your own inimitable style rather than just repost them (almost) verbatim.
I'd hate for anyone (especially my Labour Party friends) to think that we were in any way associated.
Thanks in advance.
With all due respect G2k, I don't want anyone to think we're friends. With the misogynistic and quite frankly racist crap you've thrown about Priti on Exeweb, it's a surprise you're even allowed to post on there. It is obviously worth looking at what you posted and what I posted, as the posts are not identical. Merely just posting about the attendance after seeing your post. In your old age, and with free prescriptions I'd have thought you'd be able to see properly.

Arrived at St Albans on coach which dropped supporters at Rail Station, about 1/4 mile from ground.
The St Albans staff were pleasantly brilliant, very nice people.
The common opinion amongst them was that it would end with an away win.

So far so good and then we saw the pen that the club had arranged for FGR supporters to watch game.
Photo on a previous post by Chris shows how bad it was.
[Okay it could be said Karma 'cause TNL is shit for away supporters]
Possibly scaffolding erected for live TV purposes and/or to separate two sets of supporters.

The home crowd of over 4,000 were fantastic. Noisy and supportive to the enth. Brilliant they were.
FGR never got out of 2nd gear so no surprise St Albans took lead on two occasions.
The below par play silenced the away fans even and especially after FGR equalised for 2nd time.

Not sure if the mass invasion of the pitch after final whistle was shown on BBC.
Seems every Albans supporter ran onto pitch to celebrate - and why not?
Obviously I'm at wrong end of it but it was terrific fun to watch - I hope the FA authorities don't come down heavy on the club.

Before the match FGR supporters were bemoaning fact that the match was being televised : - we nearly always convive to lose. Our poor TV record continues. Two TV games this season and two losses.

Thanks very honest but FGR will bounce back, I do have a soft spot for them and their way forward with sustainability should be adopted by all soccer clubs. My club (Luton) run ethical lines with their sponsorship but we should all adopt these principles from both clubs as a way of creating a less corrupt sport.

In fairness mansfield lose all the time and we’ve not been on tv at all

You're time will come soon.... I think?

Well first of all when we had St albans in the 1st round in 2013 we won 8-1 hah.

But secondly we were on a few seasons ago away to shaw lane (barnsley way) and won 3-1.

I could have watched all the game at home but instead travelled 40 miles and ended up missing 3 of the goals as i was in the beer tent.

I agree that Coleman and Yems are incredibly salty but that is pretty cringe.

Oh dear laddo. That misguided Tory trope again? How sad.

I would content that, for the SINGLE observation I was about the horrid Patel was not only demonstrated not to by "misogynistic" (not by me but by others) and could not be in any way be considered racist.

The only possible group who might accuse me of making unpleasant compasisons would be practicing Wiccans.

If you are going to throw around casual libels at least try to make them credible.

Ha. I think it was more than confirmed both misogynistic and racist by Tavy and Jinx. A vile thing to post you still to date haven't apologised for. But it's okay, someone even further left than you confirmed it wasn't. We both know what a vile and disgusting thing it was and you are. You're just lucky Spanks & Hants are corbynistas like yourself. I had a kind DM from Jase saying as such.

I don't know if it's just the one Port Vale fan that keeps making these or if it's just a popular pastime down Burslem way but there have been a fair number of cringey responses to stuff like this from Vale fans.

Lovely this from Huddersfield loanee Matty Daly and then a cool finish from the rejuvenated Mark Cullen.

Daly has bags of promise and Cullen, who literally does fuck all for the 60 minutes he plays, just gets in dangerous positions. Great to see he's getting a good run, hopefully his mental/physical health issues are clearing up.

The Bolton one was brilliant!

Tragic. Citing Jase like he's a balanced person and not just another Tory fuckwit. Keep this shit in your personal DMs and not on TFF.
Pahahahahaha you cannot be serious with this. But granted, will keep it off TFF

I agree. I would not normally engage with DL but he threw the first firework.
Henceforth I will treat him with the contempt he so richly has deserved (even on matters ECFC)

Now...on to next Tuesday's replay. What do you reckon the crowd is likely to be.

Just put him on mute.

Not sure the crowd will be that great, would have like to have seen ticket prices reduced a bit more for this one.
