I was as surprised as you by the outcome in both incidents - though they were up the opposite end and I didn't have the best view.
Hard to describe how bad we were today. Probably edged the first half, the two attacks/goals conceded aside, but there was no effort from anyone. Two stupid red cards, one from our new loan full-back (here for a month, out for three games...).
Manager will be sacked very soon, so just a question of who's available now?

The weather and the slippery surface made things awkward for both teams today. You had two great chances early doors when our centre halves were struggling to keep their feet trying to change direction with your attackers on the edge of the box, they both fluffed their chances unfortunately for you. We have been exactly the same until Anthony Dudley joined us last week. He is a cracking young talent and takes his chances with great composure. He has given the rest of the players a real lift and boosted everyones confidence.
I was dreading our next three games (Cheltenham, Eastleigh and Tranmere) but now i think we will give them a game.

If anyone hasn't seen Macclesfield's equaliser yesterday then take a look: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34685704

It really is ridiculous!

Overall we deserved to win just about but Macc did themselves justice. It's only because McGurk is so alert that they ended up losing. We need to improve but I'd have taken any kind of win yesterday given our recent record.

The winners of FCUM and Chesterfield in the next round, please.

To be honest, so many keepers take a chance in those situations its bound to happen sometime. The opposing striker has absolutely nothing to lose by flying in like that. Silly mistake but I am sometimes suprised goals like that don't happen a bit more often.

Doesn't get much better then scoring a cracking last minute winner, especially away to a league side in the FA Cup. Scenes.

Also like to say what a nice club the Dons are, very friendly all their fans I met wished us all the best in the next round, as did their little mc doing the motm presentation in the bar. Great to see such sporting opposition.

Ps lucky we didn't use the coaches, getting there 1 min before kick off isn't for me.

Got one back with the last kick of the half, Rhead penalty, Goal 12 for the season.

If we get a replay out of this now....

2-3, Rhead, 13th goal. This isn't over, they're not great defensively, could end up anything.

Jesus Lincoln! Finished 0-0 at Aldershot, Shots shaded the first half, Bradford stepped up in the second. 0-0 was probably fair.

Because they know nothing about them, and just want them through as the smaller non-league side.

For that, read bunch of clueless morons. Probably the same lot that wanted Crawley to get a result against United those years ago.

Your always talking like you support a proper club. But you support Alfreton, who are just as small and tinpot as all the other tinpotters.;)
