Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
This Notts performance is one of the worst i've seen for a league side at a non-league side, i'm struggling to remember any chances apart from that fluke open goal which they still flogged.

but they probs will nick something as Salford havn't buried this easy game.

Notts have been astoundingly bad.... Genuinely gobsmacked by such a non performance.

Agreed. Ive seen some awful performances from us when we're televised in the Cup but this is something else.

What a piece of skill and a goal! I was thinking what on earth he was doing as he had the opportunity to go on the inside a couple of times but he fooled us all there!

Notts county have really excelled themselves here, they are beyond crap, especially given their massive budget and their ridiculously big squad.

Still, I did predict they'd make tits out of themselves on tv, and so they have

What level were Warrington when they beat Exeter last year?

One below where Salford are now but This match has been totally different to that one. Warrington only had one chance and Exeter several whereas it's Salford who've created all the chances (even County's best one!)

Did Salford not get the memo that you're meant to get a flukey last minute one from a set piece? That goal was too good for a cupset and they're all over them.

8th tier so league below Salford now.

Ah okay, must admit I didn't watch the Warrington game last year so I didn't realise Exeter were the better side. The cup is odd, we played Dorchester last year in the qualifying rounds and beat them 7-1 away, they're Level 7. Got Chesham on Sunday, expecting a win but they've won a few games recently so not expecting it to be very easy.

What do any of those have to do with Nottingham? :bl:
I was wondering the same. I dunno where Churchill was from and I guess you could claim Thatcher at a stretch (she was from Grantham wasn't she?) but I thought Lord Nelson was from Norfolk?!

I think the location of Blenheim Palace gives a clue as to where Churchill was from.
He could have added Robin Hood, Jimmy Sirrel, the Sheriff of Nottingham..

Churchill was from Blenheim Palace (Oxford way isn't it?) and was an MP in the Manchester area. Thatcher was of Grantham (not even Notts) and Nelson is, as you say, Norfolk's most famous son. Well until Stephen Fry but I like to claim him as ours anyway ;)

Edit: Robin Hood is allegedly not even Nott'm either. For what historical accuracy is worth with him anyway! Looks like it's just Jermaine Jenas, and he's definitely jumped ship!

I'd be embarrassed if I was a County fan, appalling performance and they were deservedly beaten. Fair play to Salford, and every player was committed.

I guess Notts County should've used their reserves tonight? ;)

I've never seen such a dominant performance from a non league side against a league side.

Notts County players need to take a long hard look at themselves after that. A disgraceful performance.

Fully deserved win from Salford.
