Handball by Sweeney from Jabo's shot for the second goal. Obviously unintentional but it did give Carlisle Utd an advantage so probably shouldn't have been given.
Anyway you'll be fine. Welling find it hard enough to score 1 goal let alone 2 especially with St Aimie in the side.

Grainger missed a penalty to make it 3-0. Decent save in fairness.

Fuckin hell Grainger! All you had to do was score the pen and we're through.

Three dreadful goals to concede, jesus. We need a first choice keeper, having two crap ones is obviously not working.

Absolutely ruthless from us today. The penalty miss is still pissing me off though.

Harsh decisions against Welling today I'm hearing but doubt they expected much from this game anyway.

Also see Welling have raised nearly £600 for the 'Cumbria flood fund' not much in the grand scheme of things but a nice gesture nonetheless.

Wyke completes his hat trick, 5-0.

Yeah, great gesture from Welling.

The only issue was the second goal. They claim handball but for me it hit sweeneys ribs and went in.

Fair enough, I only got that from the Welling Twitter feed in fairness!

Deservedly beaten by Peterborough today, without Tyler the score would have been an embarrassment, although some of their finishing left a lot to be desired. Played some lovely football at times.

Still needs to learn that smacking it long to Mackail Smith isn't a good tactic and isn't ever going to work.

Fuck right off Beasant

We have three keepers on our books. Two are not good enough, and although it seems Norris is doing superbly at Braintre, I'm not sure he'd be ready to go in, even if we could recall him.

I imagine Derry is desperate to get that sorted next month.

Great result. Made Vale look ordinary. Should have probably scored more than 2.

Vale made Vale look ordinary, diabolical and so bad despite great league form it appears our chairman has hunted down our manager at full time and appears to be sacking him pitchside! Crazy stuff.

Dunno if you're serious or not, but if there's one thing I can't stand is sacking a manager after a Cup game. I don't care if a League 1/2 side were eliminated by Shaw Lane Effin' Aqua Force or some other pub side, cup matches are entirely different to league games.

Our squad have spoken to KC on the bus back and asked if they can go out and help people affected by the floods after training sessions this week, now asking people to email the club and tell them where they're needed. Very good to see even new players getting in on it, Tom Miller didn't travel today due to illness and I gather he's been out looking for things to do to help today. Seen a picture of Brunton Park, unbelievable how far underwater it is and that's compared to a few weeks ago when half the pitch was flooded.

Images on Twitter of a half hour discussion and apparently the chairman boarded the fans coach to apologise and promise a new manager, Page has had us in good form but we've been woeful away (our home form is superb in comparison) and this was a chance of a money spinner and from what reports and what I've heard we didn't look interested at all today and he got the team selection massively wrong.

Both our goalkeepers are fucking terrible.

Donny were really poor, absolutely gifted them that, should have scored more but just not our day. We're definitely progressing, but will go nowhere without a keeper.

Yep today was the first time we've lost and I actually thought it was undeserved. Only a Beasant howler, Greg Taylor failing to stop a cross coming in (again) and a screamer being the reasons we've lost. We outplayed Donny and they were lucky as fuck to win today.

I hope they draw someone like Rotherham away to make me feel like it's not a missed opportunity.

It's clear as daylight both aren't good enough, at least for a club whose main objective in preseason were the playoffs, but still, if we cannot bring in a new keeper, then Dunn should be the number 1. He's the much better shot-stopper, and in my book that's more important than the better traits Beasant has over Dunn, namely kicking and cross handling. Dunn also has much more league experience than Beasant, even though the latter has been playing for quite a while now, and that to me means quite a lot.

I said before the match that Derry got it wrong and he should have gone with Dunn today. While Donny aren't a big side, it still was an Fa Cup game, and Dunn played a blinder last year against Man U, and he also was in the Northampton side that won at Anfield 4/5 years ago.
