If they had a choice I suspect the Grimsby fans would have taken winning promotion last week to winning this final I suspect (as might the Wrexham fans have done a few years back when they got to both the play-off final and Trophy final but won the latter)

Blimey, we were awful on Sunday, I think the players were still pissed after a weeks celebrating. Halifax weren't much better either. It was probably one of the worst games of football I've ever seen.

We won the one that mattered though and already looking forward to the new season.

Probably as bad as we have played for a good few months!! Horsell (GK) had his worst game for us and although we played okay first 20 we weren't at the races from then on at all. Shame for the players as they all know how much better than could've done but it really doesn't matter as we're out of that league!! Trophy to look forward to next year and maybe a visit to a couple of national league grounds.
