Christie Moore watched Town for a while in the '70s when he lived nearby. Much loved Irish folk musician of mine.

We also have Richard Herring's brother among our ranks. Pretty damn impressive, huh?

Rik Waller.

End of thread.

I have heard a possibly apocryphal tale that Rik was banned from the Blues Rock for hogging the karaoke nights. I hope to god it's true, it would make a fine entry to the "Tinpot" thread.

Anyone relatively famous probably don't even know they exist to be honest
Well I've never heard of most of the 'famous names' you given at the top of the thread that support that mighty Coventry City.

Half of those people don't even support City. Richard Keys does, so does Gaunt and Greame Hawley. Maybe one of The Enemy (at least one supports United).

The rest i've never known to watch us play.McGowan is a Leeds fan apparently.

Gary and Phil Neville, Danny Boyle, Steve Berry (ex Top Gear), Mike Read (ex Radio One DJ), Scott Quigg (boxer). Apparently Mark E Smith of The Fall is a Bury fan too. Not convinced of that one though.

Well I think the majority are quite well known.

Do you have anything to add to this topic or does no one famous support Bristol City? That's surprising.

Brian McFadden wanted to buy City in 2002 and he is a big fan still tweets about us most weeks after the game. Two of the enemy support Cov and the other 1 is from Birmingham and may be a plastic United fan.

Eddie Jordan follows Celtic and Cov and was a regular in the Premiership days because he was pally with Richardson. McGowan is a fan of a lots of teams it seems because his family moved around quite a lot when he was younger.

Frankie Muniz: http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/more_celebrity_city_supporters_outed_204169/index.shtml

Lucy Rose is an upcoming artist and and has produced some good music. She was on soccer am the other week talking about City.

I added to a thread which was exactly the same as this not too long ago, so this duplicate is boring me.

Ooh ooh, I can help with this one. This is from his autobiography Renegade, in which he repeatedly rails against fake writers despite having the entire thing ghostwritten because his brain is now a scrambled egg:
"Even ticket prices at clubs like Bury, who are unmistakably crap, are top-heavy. I used to watch them for free in the 80s. I'd walk through this knackered cemetery and jump the fence - they weren't worth paying for then, it's eighteen quid now!"

He's a big Man City fan though, a team I've found are invariably boring to watch because of their mental institute-blue colours.

Let's be realistic here. Half of these celebrities who are so-called 'fans' of these clubs... aren't! There's a picture or two of them in a shirt of that particular club. Or they were spotted at a game. They are good friends with an executive at the club. It doesn't make them an actual fan. People think Dwayne Johnson is a Macclesfield Town fan purely because he picked their name out of a hat on Soccer AM once upon a time. I've seen a picture of Busta Rhymes (rapper for those out there closer to pension age than school age) in a Stoke City shirt. I highly doubt he supports them. Robbie Williams is a born and bred Port Vale fan, yet has been seen in a box at Stamford Bridge, wearing a Chelsea shirt in the media etc.. For half of them, it's just a bit of publicity and clubs will obviously throw themselves at a bit of coverage. Dr Dre, a Liverpool fan. Oh, let's go the whole route of taking the piss and try and claim Osama Bin Laden was a Gooner. :ffs:

Olly Murs is mates with Cody McDonald and has been down to watch a few times. Jamelia was with Darren Byfield when he played for us, so I'm counting her too.

I think Kelly Brook is actually a fan though, I've seen her there a couple of times.
