From what I can gather a French nuclear power plant has broken down with serious safety concerns after flooding, reactors had to be turned off because the temperature was out of control etc. The French media covered it up, the German media expressed some outrage, the French media covered the outrage but not really the incident, and the English-speaking media has basically ignored the entire thing. In fact I haven't seen one article in English even online.

With only 2.4 stars from 74 Google reviews, I'm only surprised it's taken this long for an incident to take place at the Fessenheim nuclear power plant.

of course we are pissed, the plant is build on the german boarder and while the wind is coming from the Atlantic all the radioaktive stuff will end up here.

the fuckin french had build a lot of his npps on the boarders to other countries to make sure they wont be hit by the accidents then

That same model is what they want to build in Hinckley Point which is 18 miles from me
