We certainly won ugly. We are not always that bad though. We are lacking some key players at the minute. Hyde for one and Summerfield (who really makes us tick) but everyone has injuries so we cant use that as an excuse.

Last 2 games we have certainly won ugly.
I thought you were the better side for long parts. Just missed the final ball a lot. Offside I couldn't call it. I was watching the ball not the man he was crossing it to.

Your a solid outfit
We were bad tonight? :dk::fl::fl::fl:

These 2 are an embarrassment, to the club and themselves, anybody want them? :bang::fl:

Don't worry, they'll piss off back to the home forum when we've lost a few before the end of the season and things will get back to normal.

Absolutely chuffed to bits to see Sutton at the top of the league as their supporters would be the first to say that they don't do playoffs. And yes, I do see them as my second club and have many friends there.

They gave us our first PSF when we reformed but we've never played them in a league match as our rise coincided with their decline. Less said about the 2017 FA Cup matches, the better.

Given how poorly we're doing, there's a distinct possibility that we'll be playing them in L2 next season, maybe even as a groundshare as we're the logical choice while they rip up the 3g pitch.

All the best Sutton and can someone please get me a ticket for the home match against Hartlepool on May 22nd? Our season will have finished by then.

Didn't even need to watch the game tonight to know we're not good enough to win the league.

Want to get promoted then you can't go away to fucking King's Lynn with 5 defenders and 2 holding DMs, ridiculous. Of course everyone says we were shit first half then he brings Oates on and we start to look a threat.

Way too cautious and too many dropped points. Not happy.

I know your board of directors have given Daryl McMahon the vote of confidence, but how long for? Daggers given their budget are still massively underachieving so personally I think it’s to your detriment if you keep him beyond the summer.

We don’t sack managers until it’s far too late, although we have new owners we still have the same stubborn MD who can never admit he is wrong which is a worry as McMahon has woefully underperformed this season yet gets more time, strange club.

Shit team selection again from DC & no way would we win with it.Shoehorning White & Feath into midfield just doesn't work.
Listened to the first 30 mins then switched off, turned it back on when we levelled.
Oates ran them ragged when he came on,but it was too late, another two points chucked away.
Seriously pissed off.

Dunno what he’s thinking with that team or what he’s hoping to achieve, Featherstone and White shouldn’t be in the same team, it’s one or the other, they both do the same job,

Going to a team down the bottom, who have half a squad furloughed and the rest probably worked a proper job in the morning and setting up like we did is shite, they had Cleethorpe Towns goalie playing FFS, DC is at fault for these last two results, he needs to shoulder the criticism, we look like a team in mid table not one 2nd in the league.

The amount of points we've spaffed away this season, we should be 10 points clear at the top. Mostly by shitting ourselves in the box but now we're trying a new thing, playing for draws against weaker sides and still concede 2. Stockport or Notts away etc fine but King's Lynn away and Eastleigh at home?

Obviously we are better than previous seasons but you can't help feeling we should be doing better than this.

Go with Shelton, Featherstone (or White not both), Molyneux (or even Holohan) behind Oates and Armstrong. Not guaranteed to win every week with that but we will at least create chances and win more than not.

Thanks Meadow, and I’ll see what I can do closer to the time.

Whilst groundsharing at Plough Lane (of we have to groundshare) would be fun, for banter reasons it would be funny to groundshare with Chelsea women. Obviously this is all speculation and we still have a minimum of 16 fixtures yet to play.

Someone put the PPG table without Dover up on our forum. This, it has to be said, is very embarrassing for the rest of you.

Eastleigh trying their utmost to create a tinpot rivalry with us for some reason last night. No idea what came over them.

You’ll never have a better chance of playing league football and welcoming the likes of Morecambe and Crawley (or Bradford and Bolton) to Gander Green Lane, if you balls this up now you want shooting Jared!

Weird parallels with Barrow last year, churning out win after win and running away with it despite no-one tipping Sutton for top spot at the start of the season, while the so-called ‘bigger’ clubs flatter to deceive.

Once the Dover results are expunged (which will surely happen now, I don’t see how it can’t), the table should look even more emphatic for Sutton. Has anybody got an updated copy to hand?

Jacob has posted it above in PPG format but all the data is there for the what the current standings would be.

The Dover aspect does us no favours but the league need to get it sorted asap so we can actually look at an accurate table every week. Everyone knows their results will be expunged.

I said since day one we'd get play-offs, no higher and will all be about how we arrive in that moment. We've got the tools but with a real mix and match of players, fair amount of injuries and a lack of form, I'm glad the Play-Offs aren't next week put it that way.

I don’t think either of us are much use really, but I’d probably still predict Notts and Stockport to finish second and third in whatever order.

Similarities aren't just this season either, I think they struggled early doors under a new manager as Evatt did in his first season before really picking up towards the end, I think they were comfortably midtable by the time the season was stopped, and were one of the best teams I saw last season even in defeat.

If the last couple of seasons are anything to go by it just shows you don't necessarily need a massive Salford-esque budget to be successful, you just need a hardworking squad that play for each other and a good manager. Obviously there is an element of luck as you mention that none of the expected favourites lived up to that tag. I'll be following the run-in with interest for sure to see if they can continue it, just hope whoever does get promoted won't be replacing us!

Looking for a silver lining, it will be nice to go through the playoffs now it's looking almost certain we will have fans back by then.

Lets get there first, preferably in the top two playoff positions.

...Looking at their last few results I think King’s Lynn should have furloughed their players earlier.

I think it says a lot about our recruitment and squad makeup prior to our first season at this level. Hopefully lessons will have been learned but even allowing for our geographic constraints the management group don't seem to have enough contacts and it looked like we were just happy to sign players without any real plan as to how they would fit together. All the more frustrating considering how cohesive we were in the first part of 2019/20 season at NLN level.

Sutton were excellent last night - pretty much nullified any threat we posed during the game and in my view deserved to win (regardless of the supposed push on Gunning leading to their goal). 2 defeats on the trot for Rowe but I'm not overly worried. Think we will bounce back against Barnet on Saturday.

Our form is pretty good at the moment .We are 3rd in the form league over the last 5 10 and 15 games. Only 1 defeat in last 13 games.

Any team failing to beat Barnet should be banished to the shadow realm with Dover.

Don’t know or care.
I do. If they are allowed to just shut up shop and then start next season in this league with no points deduction whilst some clubs have had to take out massive loans to complete the season then that would be a disgrace. It would also be an unfair advantage to them on some other teams as well who have to budget to pay back some of that loan year on year probably coming out of any playing budget.

It's because they have yet to be punished that you'll have other teams doing the same when there seasons are effectively done. I saw Woking say they would furlough the first team if they got knocked out of the trophy. No chance they'd be saying or doing that if Dover had already been properly sanctioned..

Not liking the sounds of this Barnet life support machine having seemingly been switched back on.... just in time for our visit there this weekend!!

Yep, just 4 goals conceded in our last two games. Big improvement.
