Jallet however is named. The right back area is a problem for me. Maybe put Digne on right and Kurzawa on left ( when Evra retires).

Why is the RB area a problem? Debuchy is first choice, Sagna second. Call up Jallet is one of them is injured.
I wish Deschamps would stop calling up Evra. He's still very good for his age as proven at Dortmund but let's put the youngsters in charge. Would be disappointed to see Evra start any of our games at the Euros. Actually really thought he'd retire after the World Cup.

Matchday 30
Big surprise at the top with Lyon losing at home to Nice (1-2). Lyon's second home defeat and the 3rd home game they fail to win. It's an even bigger surprise who the defeat came against as Nice hadn't won any of their previous 7 games scoring just 2 goals in those games. PSG and Marseille took advantage of that defeat with easy wins against Lorient (3-1) and Lens (4-0) respectively. PSG are now top of the league for the first time of the year while Marseille are the best away side of the top 3.
Monaco are keeping up with them though and stay 4 points behind Marseille with a game in hand. They won at Reims 3-1 on Sunday which is their fifth game without losing (12 points from 5). Saint-Etienne are also looking good again. After a poor run of 7 games without a win, Les Verts won their 3rd straight game 2-0 against Lille and are just a point behind Monaco and 5 from 3rd. Looks like the top 5 is settled though as Bordeaux are 4 points behind Saint-Etienne.

At the bottom, the relegation race is back on with Toulouse winning their first game under new manager and Ligue 1 rookie Dominique Arribagé. They beat "local" rivals Bordeaux 2-1. As stated on numerous occasions, Lens and Metz are virtually down so Toulouse need to give it a serious go to keep it exciting. The sides looking to replace them in the bottom 3 could be Reims and Caen who aren't doing great lately. Reims won just one game in 2015 while Caen have gone off the boil since the turn of the year (5 wins from 6). They failed to beat Metz (and that's bad) which is their 3rd game without a win.

The top of Ligue 1 is so tight and can still be won from Lyon, PSG or Marseille. That said Monaco are closing the gap so it could be a 4 team title race!
OM v PSG next week. That'll be some game.

Marseille v PSG tonight! Big game made bigger as Lyon won 3-1 yesterday.
Think it'll be tight but can see PSG nicking a win.
Paris at full strength except from Lucas who is still injured.
Imbula missing for OM which is a blow but Lemina is more than capable to fill in.

What a game that was on Sunday night! I didn't expect it to be that open with many chances from both sides.
PSG deserved winners and should have been more than 3.
David Luiz is out for 4 weeks and Motta for around 10 days. Whilst Gignac and Ayew supposedly sent off after the game!
Will take something special from Marseille to claw themselves back but it's now out of Lyon and PSG for the title.

It's taken them a while to get rid of the Guy Roux trauma after he left but it looks like the new generation want to do things its own way and that's good to see. Even though they're 8th in Ligue 2, they're only 5 points from promotion. Would be great if they can go up this season or the next one. Proper club is Auxerre.

Monaco won at Caen 3-0. Great win before Juve.

League Cup final this evening. First trophy of the season within touching distance.

We won the League Cup beating Bastia 4-0 in the final. Referee ruined the game by sending off Squilacci when a yellow would have been enough. Great to see Cavani scoring a brace as Ibra is suspended on Wednesday against Barca.
Monaco also got a good win at Caen 3-0 which is good preparation for Juve away on Tuesday.

It is indeed very good news for French football. OM in the CL just wouldn't work. Club is far too unstable especially if Bielsa goes.

Even with Bielsa the formation and team is crazy. 3 at the back just doesn't work and I watched the game v Nantes and I just couldn't work out the formation he was playing.
Big club, crazy set of fans but they should really be doing better.

Btw, André Ayew has all but confirmed that he's going to Roma next season on a free. Unless Margarita opens her wallet, I can't see much more than a mid-table finish for Marseille next season.
