The roof of the 53 year old main stand has been damaged but according to some of our twitter knob supporters this is the clubs fault. Obviously they do not employ anybody who can control the weather.

There is also some advertising hoardings and guttering in the Bebington End (refuse to call it the kop) that are loose and dangerous but thats not good enough for some.

I'm good with it. One or two needed to make way after that shit-show on Tuesday and other rightly have an opportunity. Because of the frequency of games there was always going to be some in and out of the starting lineup anyway. Johnson helps add some more aerial presence, strikes me as the sort who will need someone vocal alongside him so Martin needs to assume that role.

Great to see Burgess on the bench. Wish him all the best if he gets any minutes today.

We have a 16 year old, Harry Lee, who has been playing in the youth side all season. I'd rather see him play but making your debut on a cold afternoon at Rochdale may not be ideal. At least Brown has tons of experience, even though he is lacking game time this season.
I think we gambled as we normally have two experienced keepers but it was hard to keep them both happy (Maxted and Ward last season)

Well we've been awful for most of that half. Without Nicholson on the pitch and with an unfit Pitman taking his place, we have no one closing down FGR and give them all the time they want on the ball.

All we've tried to do for most of that half is smash it up the pitch as if Nicholson was playing who'd get on the end of it.

Lucky to only be losing 1-0 tbh
