Away to top of the league. Our first game since last year. We are/were in good form, so it’ll be interesting to see if the break has dented our momentum.

We have a few injuries; Bryce Hosannah, Harry Pritchard, Richard O’Donnell, Zeli Ismael, Reece Staunton and possibly Lee Novak.

The latter would be a big loss - 7 goals in 14 for him so far.

We have strengthen through the window, so it’ll be interesting to see if we switch things up - we shouldn’t, really.

We might see AOC move to right-back.

GK: Sam Hornby

RB: Anthony O’Connor
CB: Paudie O’Connor
CB: Niall Canavan
LB: Connor Wood

DCM: Levi Sutton
DCM: Elliot Watt

CM: Billy Clarke
CM: Callum Cooke
CM: Gareth Evans

ST: Danny Rowe/Lee Novak

I’d take a draw.

Danny Rose is at Bradford? How long's he been there?

I’m more excited that they might have the world’s most bangable socialist at right back.
Haha hmmm, depends on whether or not we're classing Grace Blakeley as a socialist in my opinion?

Bit posh for me. Give me the waitress that’ll put out on a first date AND enjoys the Green New Deal as pillow talk afterwards.

Are you sure you have enough Connor’s in defence?

Yeah it would take a few dates with Blakely but the reward would be regular trips to the Tribune office to drop off her sushi lunches (although she's probably a vegan).

We wouldn’t get past the first date - not sure I could be arsed to Wikipedia the rules of Polo in advance tbh.

Hopefully we start with some of our more experienced, better players like Stokes, Whitehouse and Matt as we looked lightweight on Tuesday and will get bullied out of it again if we don't.

Be interesting to see if our new lad from Charlton gets a go up front, our fans will love him according to Coops tireless runner who'd 'chase a crisp packet if it blew across the pitch' apparently.

From what I've been told unless people play with an injury we haven't even got 11 fit players to play tomorrow. Been told both keepers are doubtful and we're trying get a emergency loan keeper in.

It’s a complete farce. Micky Adams puts it right in his auto biography..

The thing about Port Vale is there always has to be a drama going on....

I just want a year or two of smoothness where all we bother about is the football! Gannon and bus gate, the stolen shares, administration twice, smurf getting ran over the day of the protest, Smurf’s antics after the cup loss to Exeter, smurf telling sky sports he didn’t hire JFH as we were racist fans, smurf bumping of Wilde’s, Keith Ryder buying the club and vanishing from thin air after giving Micky Adams a bad full of notes to pay for the Ireland trip, the USA and Canada tour for the £8 million blue sky investment that actually ended up to be tie in the sky, our sponsors harlequin turning out to not be as thought, Smurf getting beaten up by Vale fans, Smurf threatening to liquidate us, back stabbing of Askey... and the list goes on and on and on and on.

It is huge but I can't seem to bring myself to really give a shit about it, just feels like a normal 1-0 loss

Gotta agree with the Bolton fella to be honest, it’s a odd division this season.

Harrogate get a very late equaliser at Salford.

I thought Salford were supposed to be good.
