Ghostbusters (2016)

The first I'd heard of it today due to some promotional pics. It's a reboot with a female cast, headed by Melissa 'it's funny because I'm fat' McCarthy. Now I'm the sort to say remakes are ruining my childhood, but this reboot malarkey is getting a bit pathetic now. The female cast seems so forced. What's next, Indiana Jones is remade and he's gay?

I try not to see remakes and this is no exception.

I think its been made with Dan Aykriods help and he may make a cameo, but I don't think bill Murray has anything to do with it.

the more interesting thing this summer is some of the old James Bonds are being shown at certain vue's.

if your lucky spy who loved me and Goldfinger are being re-shown on big screen.....would love to see either.

Do you not have a local independent cinema? The one near me shows old films all the time, as well as live theatre broadcasts. Proper cheap too, £3.50 for an adult, even for the new releases.

I'm usually not all that bothered by remakes and such... I'm one of those people who thinks that yes, most of the time they're pointless, but it doesn't hurt the original and who knows, they may offer a fresh new take on things.

But even I can't handle this bullshit.

nope only vue so we don't get many....but they have over last year shown afew classics, Die Hard, Ghostbusters, Aliens....went to see all and well worth it.

i expect this film to bomb in the box office not many will go and see it.
