at a similar time last season we went to FGR and did the unthinkable and won 2-0 when they hid a dodgy patch. Even though FGR are top this is again probably the best time to play them;- they haven't scored more than a goal in at least their last 5 games - neither have we, but if their best* 3 players and 2 top scorers are out then there is a slight chance we could upset them again.
IF we can somehow scrape a win i hope Scunny go down in a blaze of glory winning all their last 5 games - purely because that would mean they beat Stevenage.

We’ve taken two or more coaches to a few games this season and even though it’s a fair distance I would have been disappointed not to have a decent turnout (by our standards) on Friday.

Matt went off with a head injury against Hartlepool so if it’s concussion he’ll probably miss our next couple of games. Means we’ll likely have a very small and lightweight front line, which could work if we hit Barrow on the break but more likely will mean it’ll be a low scoring game.

I think you have missed the word " on " between the words supporters & coaches. Sorry only joking boys.

Hoping to make it 12 home wins on the bounce over imposter sutton (the proper one of course 3 miles from mansfield)

It looks as though imposter sutton have fallen away with maybe the strains of the league and a run to the final of the goodfellas or whatever it is cup.

Despite the form and the 4-0 at scunthorpe we’ve got to be more clinical infront of goal - northampton ended up being a nervous 1-0 when it should have been 2 or 3. Akins and bowery both missed sitters at scunthorpe

What is your point cretin?
This is one of the few games that FGR have taken two supporters coaches to an away match.
To take two coaches to match against team 21st in table and 238 miles distance is unbelievable to the extreme for the village club that has one of the lowest number of supporters in EFL.
That is my point. Got it?

Ok FGR-Star and FGR Stroud;- which one of you is Masi and which one is B2TF???
I try hard to avoid getting involved in disputes. If I'm wrong I apologise.
Some months ago I inadvertently upset an Orient supporter by copying and pasting a match forecast that said his team would lose. I stopped using that method thereafter.
With regards FGR-Star he seems to have a bee in his bonnet towards me because I publish known facts. You'll notice all his offensive posts are delivered late in the evening when presumably he has returned home from pub and his brain is befuddled by excessive alcohol.
Sad for him.

As you say Chris, FGR have taken more than one coach to a FEW games this season.
That was my point - two coaches to Barrow is exceptional and game will probably be best attended Barrow v FGR fixture ever. Normally FGR away support at this fixture is one of the lowest for club of any game during season.
My admiration therefore goes out to the many supporters who are prepared to endure an 11/12 hour round trip to the longest cul-de-sac in England. I've done it a few times and know how boring the trip can be.

You're top of the league and happy with 2 coaches, blimey. You should be selling it out.

The 2 coaches will be full of the FGR branch of the 92 club trying watch an EFL game at Barrow in case we achieve a miracle and stay up as you won't be able to play us next season when you've gone up..... They haven't realised that to stay up we will probably have to beat you....

Looks like Exeter fans are going to be in all 4 corners of the stand, with the away terrace being opened for home fans. I bloody deal.

Colchester deserve some punishment for their ludicrous ticketing arrangements (albeit not for our game) - maybe increase the price by the minute for good measure

I'm pretty sure you will bring more than 2 coaches to the CG, surely be able to get at least 700 as it's just down the road?

Every game at GC is massive for FGR.
A few years ago there was 800 for an EFL Cup game that shocked Swindon to the core. They thought 300 would be a good crowd.
From memory I think it is usual for FGR to hire about about 8 coaches for away match at nearest stadium to TNL.
It will be much the same for away game at Bristol Rovers.
And of course FGR always, but always, sell out the away end at Cheltenham.

But apart from those and perhaps Exeter, FGR usually only run one coach. That is why it is mind-boggling that there are two for Barrow game.

Are you really saying that you brought two coaches to Exeter, because you only had 185 fans in total this season.

You fail to mention that the M5 closed.

We would have had about 500 odd to Exeter, like we did the season before with crowds.

Not great, but there is a caveat around tat 185 figure.

Yes 550 to Exeter.

Why you so concerned with a really small club like FGR’s away attendances.

We took 290 to Tranmere, why would we only take 185 to Exeter if there wasn’t a reason.
