I've never blocked anyone myself, but then I'm so laid back I'm almost horizontal. In all my time on forums (and I'm on 5 regular ones) I've only ever reported one post and that was down to blatant homophobia by a member on our club forum seemingly never getting punished and one day I'd had enough.

I do think Rob should consider blocking Masi though, nearly every thread is becoming a slanging match between the two and making a lot of the forum unreadable.
I am pretty much the same, really laid back but will always challenge things like racism, sexism and homophobia in any situation.

In my case I reported a post that was racist, the person was banned for a couple of weeks but allowed to return to the forum. They have since been banned again for racism, for posting derogatory comments about a specific ethnic group, and posting links to an article that was linked to a person from the far right. Despite being warned about what they had done they re-posted it, claiming ignorance, and going into battle with the forum moderators. They also sent the link in a PM in some warped attempt to justify their actions. Unsurprisingly they were banned again for that infraction and are currently serving a lengthy ban for further breaches of forum rules.

I was surprised that they were allowed to return to the forum after a ban for racism, thinking it was something that should have resulted in a more serious sanction...the fact that they are a repeat offender makes me wonder how serious our club has actually treated the matter...to say I am not happy is somewhat of an understatement.

I presumed Grimsby fans were whinging over nothing, like most fans do - but that's ridiculous! Was he just incompetent or something more sinister?

(Also noticed Trevor Kettle was up in League 1 causing trouble yesterday in the Sunderland v Oxford match)

Kettle is awful! He was total chaos in the win at FGR last season! Sent Pope off for shouting at Ebou Adams for diving, his last two Vale games have seen 4 penalties!

The optimist in me says we might get a 0-0 draw here. One team with a terrible home record hosting a team with a terrible away record.

But being Carlisle, we’ll probably lose this 1-0.

I don't think any fan likes playing a team with a long throw expert, it somehow feels like your being cheated, we know it's legal we may wish we had the same weapon but it just feels wrong, however if it works Cheltenham would be mad not to profit from it.

However i do have issue with supplying towels this IMO should be banned the thrower wastes several seconds every throw, i don't ever recall seeing a towel supply as part of any game i played in the past. Its just not right.

Acknowledging what a great weapon the throw is we have the opposite problem, BWFC have not scored one header from a corner or set piece this season ( that i can recall possibly Kioso may have once but that was pre this run). That's part of the reason we don't score enough goals, we scored early season once from a corner Doyle on the near post with a shot, that from a top three team seems remarkable and needs attention.

You may have prepared for it. The players then may not have carried those instructions into the game.

The winning of the second ball is just as important as winning the first header. It's where we came unstuck against Cheltenham and to a lesser extent Carlisle and Barrow.

It seemed that we were badly prepared to be honest.

We packed the six yard box with defenders, but left several Cheltenham players free on the edge of the eighteen yard box. Two of the goals resulted from us winning the initial header, but failing to deal with the second ball because we did not have anybody picking up on the edge of the box.

It was a regular occurrence throughout the game.

Good goal, after a poor start.
Need to sharpen up on midfield if we’re going to hold on to this.

The goal has done us good. We’ve been on top since. Need a second though as we have a habit of gifting goals particularly away

We really that bad? Southend look a lot like Crawley, quite tidy on the break but a lack of final product while there's acres of space for us in the middle
Just felt we’d started off in our old habits of giving the ball away cheaply, no real plan other than clipping the ball over the top. Since the goal we’ve settled down and got on top
