The Football Conference is the coming together of the Isthmian, Southern and Northern leagues to facilitate the promotion of non league sides to the football league.
It has gone through a few name changes and is currently named the National League. Some of us more traditional members still refer it as the conference in the same way as its The Football League and not this efl nonsense you know nowts seem to want to call it.
