Somewhere about 90. The vast majority of the lower level ones aren't from watching a game but from playing at these grounds!

What's everyone's most obscure ground? Almaty National Stadium in Kazahkstan for me!

99, using the site, but I can think of at least three more that I have been to that weren't on the list.

They must be very, very obscure grounds as that site has just about every current and old football ground in the whole world on it.

Nice!

FK Cukaricki for me. Was in Serbia for the weekend for the Belgrade Derby and see there was a game in Belgrade on yhe Friday. Got lost on the way there and on the way back. Crowd was about 700 and there was a dog there.

Chesterfield's new ground is one of the 5 I've been to but not seen a Grimsby match. I have a couple of mates who are Exeter fans and went to Chesterfield v Exeter a few seasons ago on the last day of the season, as it was the day before we were away at Newport in the play-off semi-finals.

I think it was Jack Lester's last game and Chesterfield won 4-0.

Just worked it out. 19 of my 106 are grounds where I've not seen the Fleet at. Most memorable of those 20 will have to be the Belgrade Derby at Red Star with Tottenham v Inter Milan in the Champions league way behind in second.

The 19 are:
Macedonia (v Spain)
Red Star (v Partizan)
Cukaricki (v Radnik)
Osijek (v Inter Zapressik)
Arsenal (v Stoke)
West Ham (v Stoke)
Tottenham (v Inter)
Norwich (v Plymouth)
Brighton (v Gillingham)
Charlton (numerous times)
Fulham (v Crusaders)
MK Dons (v Colchester)
Southend (v Gillingham)
Swindon (v Gillingham)
Exeter (v MK)
Leyton Orient (v Gillingham)
Dagenham (v York)
Tranmere (v MK)
Deal Town (v Gillingham)

Best ground I've been to supporting the Fleet is Middlesbrough. We played Gateshead there last game of our relegation season. Was less than 400 packed in there. I avoid putting Wembley as best Stadium as I'm not keen on it.

Worst? Take your pick. Been to some horrendous grounds. Herne Bay isn't great. Hate Histon 's ground also.

Not too obscure, two are in Belgium but no longer exist, the other is Nyewood Lane (home of Bognor Regis Town)...I guess they might be on there somewhere but I just couldn't find them. I have just remembered another one while typing this, the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, that hosted games during the Women's World Cup last summer.

Bognor Regis Town is on there. If you type the team name in the search box at the top right of the page it brings it up.

I keep track of mine on Doing the 92 which is up to 106 - but it doesn't go below step 10 (does include grounds abroad though) and to be honest I can't be entirely sure how many more games I'd add - maybe 20-30, I'm also not sure you can class many of the places football is played at those levels 'grounds'.
I started taking my son when he was 6 months old, then after about 2 years old he got a bit bored of it and too much hassle at games, but we've been going again since the start of the season - he is currently on 21 grounds.

There are 5 of the 161grounds that I've been to where I haven't seen a Grimsby game.

Old Trafford (3 England games)
City of Manchester Stadium (England 6 Iceland 1)
White Hart Lane (Spurs 3 Man Utd 1) This was the day after we'd won 2-0 at Southend on a Friday night in 1990
Pro-act Stadium, Chesterfield (v Exeter)
Shielfield Park, Berwick (v Brechin City)
Estadio Da Luz, Lisbon (England 1 France 2 in Euro 2004 when England were winning 1-0 on 90 minutes)

Just realised that's 6 not 5.

Do you not count grounds where you haven't seen a game?

I think the only ground I've never seen a game is Preston when the football museum was there. I'm curious as to what people are doing inside grounds not watching a game? I know there are tours of certain grounds or are there lots of businessmen on here having conferences at the likes of Pride Park.

No, only grounds I've seen a game at.

To be honest, I don't think I've been to a ground and NOT seen a game. Been past The Emirates on the train a few times but I could do with us drawing them in the FA Cup!

I've done 70 according to the website on here. I think 7 are not seeing Cheltenham:

Ewood Park (5 times, family are fans)
Fratton Park (Pompey v Bolton in 2006)
St James's Park (Exeter v Accrington in 2006)
Vicarage Road (Saracens v Gloucester in 2003)
Old Trafford (England v Macedonia 2005(?), and Chelsea v Blackburn FA Cup Semi in 2007)
Villa Park (Aston Villa v Man City 2009)
St Andrews (Birmingham v Spurs PSF in 2004)

Unfortunately, having kids now limits my away trips, with my most recent new ground being the New Meadow in 2012.

No idea, but must be 250+. Been following the Shots for 45 years, and have also done the 92 which is now up to about 110 with new grounds. Going bust and starting again at Step9 got me loads of the small non-league grounds. Also followed England home and away during most of that time, just looked and I've seen England in 44 different countries over the years, plus 100+ times at home.

What's everyone's most obscure ground? Almaty National Stadium in Kazahkstan for me!

The national stadium in Asuncion, Paraguay, back in 2002. I went there for a game in the South American version of the Champions League, can't remember much about the game, other than the winning team played in black and white and a cheese sandwich at half-time cost the equivalent of 12p.

plenty of grounds double as rugby grounds and you may see their matches there, or music events. With that included, I've been to 35 out of the current 92, if I'm adding ones outside of the 92 and ones outside of this country/grounds no longer in existence I'm looking at 54

Higher than I thought. 87 according to that, but I couldn't be bothered searching for both Wembleys, Yeading's old place before the merger and Nene Park. Only new place I'm likely to tick off this season is Bromley.

I only go on this forum on my phone and can't seem to find a thread on this! There probably is, but I'm lazy. So how many grounds have you been to?

I've been to 108 grounds in total, but have only seen a match at 106 of them. My latest grounds are Arena II Philip (Macedonia National stadium) FK Cukaricki (Cukaricki - Serbia), Red Star Stadium and Stadion Gradski (NK Osijek - Croatia).

Going to Oxford City in a couple of weeks and hope to be at 110+ by the end of the season.

Here's my full list - www.thefleetadventures.blogspot.co.uk (Grounds I've visited section).

I suspect you went to Mac/Ser/Cro with my son, or this is a massive coincidence

Which 2 were in Begium. Only reason I ask is that it is rare for Belgium to demolish their grounds completely and I am trying to track all the 'lost' ones. Maybe these are 1 or 2 I have forgotten.

Danny Scanlon I would imagine. Yes.

Great lad. Heading back to Belgrade with him in February via a stop off in Podgorica.

These two were Stade Velodrome de Rocourt, formerly home of RFC Liege, and De Motte where KSK Tongeren played.
