These two were Stade Velodrome de Rocourt, formerly home of RFC Liege, and De Motte where KSK Tongeren played.

Great thanks.

The much missed Stade Velodrome......fantastic ground when full. It is now a housing estate, but on the positive side RFC Leige now have a new (albeit somewhat dull) new ground after many years of groundsharing.

De Motte is still around. It has lost one of its stands and is now just used for athletics.

I was at the Stade Velodrome in the late 80's for a UEFA cup game between RFC and Hibernian, agree with you about the ground, the atmosphere was excellent and helped by the band in the main stand where we were. From memory, around the same timescale, De Motte had a small stand on one side that was connected by a walkway to the clubhouse and a strange two-tiered terraced stand on the opposite side of the pitch. I think Tongeren left the ground a few years ago and wandered around Limburg merging with different teams as a way of finding somewhere to reside, not sure where they ended up though!

Counted 134 that I've seen a game at, although there's probably one or two that I've missed.

Most of them are domestic, only a handful abroad although I have visited plenty abroad and been on stadium tours and all that. Was quite taken with a visit to see Rapid Vienna just a few months ago, currently housed in the national stadium, saw them beat a little bankrolled village outfit called Grodig. Thankfully, for a nice change, the proper team won. :bg:

For me in games I've not seen Mansfield...

Old Wembley - England v Scotland
Old Trafford - Arsenal v Sheff Utd
Villa Park - Villa v Ipswich
Etihad - England v Iceland, also seen Coldplay and Oasis there.
Newcastle v Norwich but also seen Mansfield there.
Celtic Park - Scots v England
Elland Road - Leeds v Forest
City Ground - Forest v Cardiff/QPR

KSK left the ground in 2006. They merged with Heur VV in to form KFC Heur Tongeren and play at a new dull and very un Belgian ground in Limburg Provincial 1 (5th tier).

Think I'm on 103 or 104.... about 68-70 with Boston. Most recent was Alfreton but being stuck in Conference North with no cup runs limit the number of new grounds to go to. Only Curzon and FCUM's new ground left to do this season

A lot of the grounds I've been to over the years no longer exist, e.g. Burnden Park, Maine Road, Baseball Ground, Leeds Road, Boothferry Park, Eden Park, Rockingham Road, Nene Park, etc, etc. Around 65/70 league grounds. Plus all the grounds Chester have played at rising from Step 4 to Conference (2000-4, 2013-present). around 70/80 plus Wembley old and new, Millenium, and Celtic Park. Probably at least 150 (only include where I've seen games). I've also been to Nou Camp, but only as a tourist.

Do they still count if you leave after 60 minutes when Chester are losing?

Have you never left a ground because you've seen enough?

Nope and I don't intend to. Fans should lose with the team and win with the team. Sometimes it's worth sticking it out to make the good times better.

Danny Scanlon I would imagine. Yes.

Great lad. Heading back to Belgrade with him in February via a stop off in Podgorica.

Tremendous trip. Can not wait for February.

I'm on 426 grounds (365 football) but slowed down a lot the past two seasons with Uni and work, and going on trips to the arse end of europe always when the home team is away. Done the Belgrade and Copenhagen derby this season so far, hoping to do Sarajevo as well.

Alright son.

I'm on Sarajevo too if I have the funds. Still not got my holiday approved for the Poland/Georgia/Armenia trip. Be gutted if I miss out on that one.

January is going to be a tight month I reckon or I'd be absolutely bang on Sofia. Still holding out a little bit of hope mind...

Just for a place to visit - get yourself on a bus to Mostar, fantastic city to visit if you can.

If you're going that way a good possible trip is Sarajevo - Mostar - Dubrovnik

Enjoy!

We was originally flying into Dubrovnik and then possibly bussing it down. Not sure what the plan is now. Hopefully I can afford it though as the Sarajevo Derby looks immense.

Believe me, At 4-0 down to Hayes and Yeading after 60 it's much better to be sat back in the pub.

4-0 down at Hayes and Yeading sounds quite good compared to being 7-0 down at Hyde. Phil Jevons' fourth for their seventh did make it slightly worth staying until the end.

Dubrovnik down would be good. Us lot need to stop organising 16 different trips at once!

Really fancy the Dubrovnik - Mostar - Sarajevo - Dubrovnik approach. Need to do the logistics for Belgrade 150 first though!

Agreed. Is it just me you and Gurr for Belgrade 150? Glad I've got the flights sorted already. Skint as fuck ATM!

I've got 6 or 7 days off for Sarajevo I think, so I'm game.

Fancy something in June, but need to be careful as already used 15/28 holiday days for Poland/Georgia/Armenia/whatever it is we're doing.

Oxford City, Partizan Belgrade and FK Sarajevo take me up to the 110 figure I wanted to be at the end of the season. Doesn't look I'll be doing anymore now until the Summer now!

Less than I thought, 33 for actual football games. That's probably more than the average football fan, but poor by the standards set by some on here! I must try harder.

When I put this on I forgot Bala, Aberystwyth, TNS, Rhyl and Bangor, so including the these defintitely takes me well into the 150s possibly more as I remember others. Also had a meal at Falkirk Stadium last week in their restaurant overlooking their 3-sided ground, but won't count that. Also went to Cardiff City Stadium for Wales v Holland match recently.

I've counted 110, the majority of which whilst watching Southport. A few were watching Everton, three matches abroad, some random matches and a couple of grounds I've played at or trained at make up the rest. Here's the map: http://www.footballgroundmap.com/ts1sweden

The Muga - FC Cefn vs. Aberystwyth Town in a Welsh Cup 3rd Round tie during the 2011-12 season. Turns out after a quick Google search that a groundhopper was at the game and typed up a report (with pictures too) - https://thegroundhog.wordpress.com/2012/03/17/fc-cefn/

Oh, *everyone* was at that game. Well, I was, anyway; my brother was playing for FC Cefn at the time, so I went down with my dad to cheer them on and take some photos. Funnily enough, The MUGA isn't on http://www.footballgroundmap.com/

According to that site, I'm on 47 grounds. I'm quite happy with that, being resolutely and proudly fairweather when it comes to watching Wrexham. http://www.footballgroundmap.com/GlynTheMilk

At the last count, I'd done 105 grounds.

Have done Wembley and Old Trafford but they're just boring stadiums really.....best IMO (and, yes, not taking the piss) has to be Aldershot - an old rickety ground with great acoustics (well, when they let us under cover that is)... just a shame we never play well there despite our vociferous support.

Worst.... has to be and always will be Whitehawk.... what an absolute dump

Only the one visit to Aldershot for me. FA Trophy semi final (yes, that season!) And that was a good atmosphere!

Whitehawk is horrendous!
