I was done with Evatt after the play off final, you can take a loss if you gave it a proper go but not mustering up a shot on target in your biggest game with 40,000 fans all traveling down is unforgivable. I'll be forever grateful of the rebuilding he's done after the admin damage & have supported him for four years but he's the most naive manager I've ever witnessed. He never learns or adapts to anything just sets us up to play this boring, flat, one geared, training drill possession football around the back five which sucks the life of all the fans. Can't remember the last time I've gotten up off my seat from an injection of pace running at a defender or cutting in to get a shot off. He's overcoached & overcomplicated L1 footballers to the point that they've all forgotten what their strengths were as players before joining us. We wont get rid of him though, our owner will just let him piss another three million in Jan & buy him a THIRD assistant manager instead!

A very weird appointment in terms of it being Bruce but if you look at who they've appointed in the last few years, he's quite in keeping with their style of play.

Take Appleton out of it and they've appointed Bowyer, McCarthy, Critchley (twice) and Grayson in the last 10 or so years.

Evatt has been on a hiding to nothing since the defeat in the playoffs. And their disastrous start this season won't help. I was thinking i'd take a point when we played them and we got 1, but now i'm disappointed we didn't get all 3.
