Thanks Paddy!

Your welcome, but I didn't say anything that was PP

For what it's worth though I do hope you go up. The hipster movement deserves to be recognised on a semi national scale. Plus you beat us twice putting 8 past us in total & I wouldn't want that to happen again.

I've bidded farewell to the National South forum. Now time to say hello to the Isthmian forum, presuming this is where we will be next season:bye:

Our 3-0 defeat to Bath today all but confirmed relegation with Margate winning and St. Albans drawing.

Hard luck on relegation. Nicely shifted over to the Isthmian thread, though. If only some other posters would move to their appropriate thread, and in as much grace as you have shown.

It's a shame we were relegated but it's been coming.. All us Hayes fans have accepted that I think. I look forward to the challenge of this League next season and a few local games aswell.

Thanks for the kind words aswell much appreciated.

Welcome to the thunderdome Hayes & Yeading. Although my suspicions are that because you are currently based in Maidenhead you will be Southern League next year.

Welcome to the thunderdome Hayes & Yeading. Although my suspicions are that because you are currently based in Maidenhead you will be Southern League next year.

That's the only thing that bars us from playing Isthmian football next year, however we are hoping to find out in the coming weeks if the FA will allow us in to Beaconsfield Road, which, looking at some recent pics looks almost complete. If this is granted we will almost certainly be in the Isthmian, so look forward to a visit down to your ground and a few other derbies. What's the situation on Kingsmeadow nowadays?

Also a quick note to say, Garry Haylock has departed us. Such a shame as he's a fantastic guy in my opinion..and he has worked miracles for us before.

Have posted that note on National South forum aswell, just as the season hasn't fully ended for us yet.

Wombles stuck a big blue all seater behind one of the goals & flogged it to Chelsea. Next season is our last one there.

Oh, I see. Such ashame these bigger clubs can do this to Non-League clubs. Should be there to help not practically kick a team out of their own ground.

Nonetheless, look forward to a trip to you guys next season (providing we are an Isthmian club), a ground I've nearly visited on many occasions but just haven't quite got round to!

It's more a case of the irony of them shafting us out of KM considering how they came to be. But that's another story.

Apparently Burgess Hill are to be reprieved with Farnborough being relegated to Step 4. All to be confirmed at the league AGM.

Yeah, Farnborough's victory on Saturday that ensured that they finished above the bottom 4 'merely' meant that they didn't suffer a double relegation to the Combined Counties League.

Silly me mixing up Paddy and PP! Not all of us have beards at Dulwich though ;)

Ouch. Wasn't especially rooting for them or anything but feel a bit gutted for Bognor after their sterling efforts this year.

Bognor have been magnificent all season and I feel a little sorry or them too! Their fans were so generous and gracious in defeat tonight as well. Having said that we completely played them off the park tonight and really should have won far more comfortably. If we play like that again on Monday we'll win. It really depends which Dulwich turns up on the day!!

Wow did not predict a Dulwich v ETU final! In fact I predicted the other two teams to go through! With that in mind I'm going to predict ETU to win the final.

Angels bowed out of the play-offs with a bit of a whimper at Rookery Hill last night. Although they managed to stop Sam Higgins hitting the net they seemed to forget about the other 9 outfield players who were more than capable of scoring. Ref was way out of his depth as was the lino for the Angels in the first half - ball goes out veery clearly off of an ETU player and they couldn't make up there minds who to give the throw-in to.... needless to say, they both fucked up and awarded it to ETU. A decent turn-out from the travelling Angels with a guestimate of around 500 in a crowd of 849. The majority of the Angels fans left with a smile on their faces as it has been a fantastic season regardless of last night's outcome.

Not sure how ETU are going to be able to accommodate the Dulwich hordes when they descend on the palatial environs of Corringham - it seemed almost full last night with only 800+.... get those orange boxes ready boys and girls....

So most likely (pending the AGM shuffle) we are getting:

● Hayes & Yeading (relegated from conf south)
● Basingstoke Town (relegated from conf south)
● AFC Sudbury (ID1N champs)
● Harlow Town (ID1N play offs)
● Folkestone Invicta (ID1S champs)
● Worthing (ID1S play offs)

While losing Hampton, Dulwich or ETU, Farnborough, Brentwood, Lewes & VCD. Plus one or two others to go sideways in the annual reshuffle.

All in all it's a decent trade off. Lewes, for the picturesque & wonderfully titled Dripping Pan, is the only side I'll miss. Good riddance to Farnborough, their financial mismanagement is Division One South's problem now (could have been the CCL's problem if someone didn't give them 6 points in their last 5 or so games... no pointing fingers though, we are a forgiving community. Right?).

Off to East Thurrock today. Only been to 5 or 6 Dulwich games this season but can't miss this one.

You're forgetting Lowestoft who were relegated from the North on Saturday.

If I was to guess, Basingstoke will make way and go to the Southern.

Just can't deal with these wind assisted crosses into the box, causing havoc. 2 nil down already.

An Essex riviera effect. Is ETU's ground National South standard?

Well that was disappointing. 3 goals conceded all from set pieces, couldn't deal with playing against the wind in that first half. Got a pen back, missed and hit in the rebound, but in open play neither team did much at all really.

Pitch was a bit bobbly but couldn't understand why we didn't try to pass it about a bit rather than trying long balls.

Well beaten though, no complaints.

Maasive congrats to East Thurrock. Along with $hitehawk have played the best football I've seen this season and score for fun. Hard luck to Dulwich though, a club who should be playing at a higher level, hopefully they'll get up next season.

Fuck sake Dulwich. At least you'll still get your annual 6 points from Kingstonian.

Lowestoft are coming back? I'd rather take Basingstoke & shunt Lowestoft in to the Southern (or Northern) divisions. But then again I'm not on the AGM committee.

Yeah, you've already got enough extra seaside trips with Worthing and Folkestone coming up.

Congratulations to East Thurrock on your promotion! You thoroughly deserved your win yesterday.

We were thoroughly outplayed yesterday by a stronger, more determined team who handled the high winds and bobbly pitch much better than we did. As John Coventry said in the non-league paper last week 'Dulwich are the best team in the league on their day, but they do have their share of off days'. Unfortunately, we've had far too many off days this season. Great to hear that a large number of Dulwich fans stayed behind to congratulate East Thurrock with choruses of 'you are going up' and even forming a guard of honour for the E. Thurrock team. I was too hacked off to join in but good to see such sportmanship. This is one of the reasons our crowds are growing!!
