Where is the real Rafa Benitez? This is a shadow. Complete shadow. Oh and he speaks utter shite. Give him the boot Aurelio.

That wasn't part of the whole post, but yeah he speaks shite. Looks for excuses like Wenger and Mourinho. He was a good manager is what I'm saying, but its past it for him though I'd say.

Rumours Mandorlini won't see out the week at Verona. After the first month or so of the season they have been absolutely dreadful. It will be a shame to see him go as he took Hellas from C to A, but he seems to have run out of ideas now and if something doesn't change soon then it will be back to Serie B.

Eddy Reja apparently favourite.

Some Thai equity firm has offred 1bn€ to Berlusconi to buy Milan. Silvio should take it and run. Italian football needs money and a lot of it to put themselves back up there with the big boys.

And Reja did the same with Napoli. He's gotten 4 teams to Serie A so even if they do go down, he's the man to bring them back. Really needs to be in a job to be fair.

No wonder, with all these players they have on their books, they must have a playing staff of about 6,000! :D

I don't think it was unfortunate. Sacchi's clarification was even worse - it wasn't really a slip of the tongue, he's just got a very archaic understanding of nationality, identity and skin colour.

Does take you back to Baggio saying he lost faith in Sacchi not as a coach but as a man. It's incredible that someone so familiar with the youth sector and with some refreshingly progressive views for reforming it says something so fucking stupid.

Berlusconi has refused the Thai offer to buy the club which was said to be in at 970M€!

Parma have been dissolved (basically automatically relegated). Each of their games will now go down as 0-3 defeats.

Also when parmalat went bust due to major corruption. Parma have been in and out of money troubles for years. I didn't realise that they were bankrolled in the early 90's I just remembered them being a good team.

Are there any sites where you can watch highlights for the Italian leagues by the way?

All started with Parmalat going bust really. They haven't been dissolved yet, but hopefully they can keep their heads above water and make it till the end of the season, go into administration and have the club auctioned off like in 2007. Except without that c*** Ghirardi.

No money to pay stewards, no hot water, team bus seized, director of sport hospitalised and nobody at the club has been paid since last summer. (Latest here.)

How has an Italian club allowed something like this to happen yet again, did Napoli and Fiorentina just over a decade ago teach them nothing? This is the worst thing to have happened to the league since Calciopoli.

Just been reading about this what with today's being postponed. Was reading an article that one of the owners, Manenti, keeps saying that he has the funds to keep the club afloat but he is yet to spend a single penny!

Really sad if they go bust. My first season following football was 1998/99 and Parma had superb team. Thuram at the back and the attacking duo of Crespo & Chiesa. They destroyed Marseille 3-0 in the UEFA Cup.

Shame about Parma, their team in the late 90's was excellent. Buffon, Thuram, Cannavaro, Veron, Dino Baggio, Crespo, Chiesa, Balbo. Hopefully they can go into administration & be sold at the end of the season

Parma's players apparantly paying their own way for this Sunday's away game. The club can't afford to play a home game
