Looks like he may be in hot water again with Tim Sherwood after he was posted around Twitter lay unconsciously pissed on the floor with a packet of fags next to him. Bit harsh to give him a roasting, he is after all human. However, pro footballers these days are looked up to by kids so you can see why it's an image the club won't want stuck to him.

He's only young but as you say he is a professional footballer and, aside from being a role model of sorts, situations like this hardly show a professional attitude towards fitness etc. The season is over and he is entitled to go and let his hair (which is awful by the way) down but it seems he went a bit too far this time.

Imagine if a club released a statement every time one of their young players got drunk. There's tonnes of footballers out in Marbs, Ibiza, Vegas etc... right now doing stupid stuff - probably shagging all sorts, puffing stuff they shouldn't, getting wankered. I find it fairly bizarre that Villa have acted like it's something that needs addressing.

There's a picture of him lying bladdered in the middle of the road. I think it's more in regards to if some random guy is speeding down that road and runs him down (and ruins his ridiculous hair), then Aston Villa as a business have lost a lot of money and a member of their staff due to a drunken holiday.

I don't think anybody begrudges Grealish and his mop a good drink after a hard ( ) season, but maybe just be sensible and have people around you who are going to make sure you don't get into a situation where Juan the local Tenerife taxi man is scrapping your mushroom hair off his tyre

Whoopdeedoo, it's the end of the season, he's entitled to do as he pleases imo. Bit silly, but he's 19 ffs. The only thing I see coming of this is that Tim will have a quiet word and basically make it clear not to be seen doing it again. Grealish will have certain fitness standards he will have to meet when he reports back for pre-season, as long as he meets them he can do what he likes, as long as it's legal, on holiday as far as I'm concerned.

Only consequence she'd have been arsed about was how much she might be able to sell the picture to the tabloids for.

Silly thing for him to do, but then getting so bladdered that you pass out by the side of the road is a silly thing for anyone to do. And it was a silly thing to do when I was doing it at 19, too! Be more worried about where his mates were. You don't leave a man behind!
