Even the most pessimistic version of me can’t predict defeat at Forest Green given our good record there, even though we don’t have Nathan Thomas anymore.

A fair few missing for us this weekend. George Tanner who is the best right back we’ve had in about 10 years is out for at least a couple of months, Devine is out and also top scorer Jon Mellish is suspended. Plus other long term absentees Ethan Walker and Brennan Dickenson still a bit away from returning. So kind of down to the bare bones.

I’m predicting a 1-1 draw which would be a very acceptable result given how good the opposition are.

As long as we don't end up having to start Gavin Reilly in a match then we will always have a chance.

I'd say he's the only disappointing performer for us this season other than that 3rd choice keeper we have and considering Reilly was touted as the best finisher at the club before a ball had been kicked.

Can't see our game being a draw tomorrow.

Can see either Grimsby playing out of their skin for Holloway or their players giving up on him, hopefully it's the latter.

Our record against Crawley is absolutely terrible, yet I’ve never once seen them be the better side in a game. I think we’re just very, very bad at defending and very, very good (bad?) at missing chances. Looking forward to seeing how we gift wrap these particular tinpotters the points this time.
These ex non league clubs giving it the big I am/we are. Tinpotters indeed.

Orient should realise they're playing with the big boys now they're in the football league.
;- >

I've already posted that we've had our away win this season. You'll have to cock it up big time to lose.

We now have a slight injury crisis as our good right back and one of our good midfielders are out injured and both could be long term, so that's it our season is over now. :(

We need 15 more points for safety and trying to get that is going to be tough.

No more 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 thrashings then? :(

Well I guess it was fun times while it lasted eh. I'm sure that looking at the standings and seeing part time Carlisle Utd up there with the big boys must've felt nice. But this talk of relegation is just silly Carver. True that you lot were never going to go up this season but IMO there's just enough quality in the squad to finish above the bottom two sides.

Keep the faith buddy!

But only a C- for content. Our AFC Horwich fan needs to concentrate on revising for the GCSE Geography re-sit.

Very,Very clever man...was raises about 20 yards from the old Lever End at Burnden Park
You have a beautiful little village on the Wirrel Port Sunlight......Built and paid for by another Boltonian
Lord Leverhulme......There lies the connection
He got out as fast as he could. Raised not raises. Slack word lad. Slack work.

We are well aware of the place he escaped from. You might want to find out why he left Bolton. A precedent followed by your football club.

You haven't displayed the full extent of your lack of knowledge to us yet but at the moment it appears to be infinite. Therefore it is virtually infinite. Virtually is similar to almost. Any other help you need?
You cannot get almost infinite......Either it is or its not

You are a pathetic little nonentity aren't you. Constantly whining about personal attacks on you. I bet there are plenty on here who could present a post that you have been abusive towards them. Its the classic behaviour of an idiot who has nothing to offer in an argument or discussion and has only pettiness as a recourse. Calling you a manchild would insulting to both men and children.

Oh dear Chris, that was a naughty reply but it did make me smile.

I've just listened to Mark C pre-match interview and he is very complimentary towards Carlisle.
It is not often that he gives such a detailed analyses of our opponents.
We now know Carlisle's main threat is from their goalkeeper who kicks the ball to a team mate standing in the goal mouth area.
FGR could have 75% possession but lose match from one of the goalkeeper's hoofs.
You'll definitely have more possession, we almost always have less of the ball, but arguably do a lot more with it when we have it. Surprised he didn't mention Kayode's long throws, they've been a bugbear of many an opponent, often becuase they haven't read the rules on foul throws and think we're getting away with murder.

It's not so much that we're direct, because we play so high up from the pitch... we 'play out from the back' if the 'back' begins just goal-side of the centre-circle.

I'd probably say Connor Malley is the most disappointing. Reilly and Obiero both look like they have something about them. I wouldn't say I've seen Reilly have a bad game for us, he's just so far missed the big chances that have come his way. He still has a couple of assists which isn't too bad for the limited time he's had on the pitch.

You are the one who started the personal remarks going back to first week you were on here. Barrow fans could easily back that up. No amount of garbage from you can change that. Deleting previous posts only makes it harder to prove. It doesnt mean it didnt happen. You actually have been personal with the other Tranmere fans because you generalise every comment you make. I have absolutely no respect for somebody like you because you have no self awareness. If i really wanted to attack you i would happily stoop to your level. I simply point out all of your faults in the futile hope that they will be recognised and rectified. The rampant narcissism you display makes this unlikely but god loves a trier.

Exactly, we’re not direct as in a lump it to the CF constantly. We take direct goalkicks and direct throws, but when the ball is won or picked up in midfield we play from there.

Could do with Barrow finding a result tomorrow against Cheltenham. Then at least if we slip up we’d still be in the top 3.

Now Shoddy. There was me defending your style of play and you have to go and remind me of those foul throws....I still say they are as he encroaches on the pitch when he walks through the throw. I aint reffed for years but I would call that every time.

Remember; I didn't say they were the cause of our defeat or long throws are bad just that what your player does looks like a foul throw to me.
