Didn’t even know anything was happening. That looks a lot more efficient than it was. Will it be reduced capacity for our opening game then? If so, any ideas on capacity?

You only gave us an initial 1k, which I thought was low, but I expect us to request more for sure

I think it’s actually impressive that a club is willing to spend money on the improvement for away fans tbh
I shouldn't get too excited as I think its more a case of having to do it up rather than making it better for away fans.

Some images of the temporary stand that's being built currently down the end where the current away fans are situated

Looks similar to what Lincoln are doing with their away end.

A roof and bigger allocation is much appreciated!

They're adding better kiosks, beer taps, toilets and have extended the space behind the stand for "milling". All seats are going in as safe standing however not sure we've got the license to use them properly until we had some to the home end. Also eventually will have space for disabled away fans to be with their own and are installing a lift too.

It's more of a 'closest we're gonna get to a derby' kind of thing. There's certainly no rivalry or anything though
I know what you mean. Our closest match for the last few years, since Crewe went down, has been Burton,60 miles away.
Likely to change in the coming years with Wrexham only being 30 miles away

Fleetwood have signed Sam Fishburn from Carlisle, young player with plenty of games under his belt.
Is he a good prospect you Carlisle fans ?

Loan us Danny Mayor and I'll let you know.

Might as well put it here - being reported that Marcus Bignot has agreed to leave his role with us as first team coach go to Shrewsbury as Matt Taylor's assistant manager.

Seems like Mickey Moore is trying to get his mates together. He wanted Matt Taylor for our head coach job last year, now has him as Shrews head coach, and has now come back for Bignot, someone he's really good mates with and has worked with at a few clubs.

Always look on the bright side of life, in fact let's sing it...Fleetwood sign Adam Montgomery left back from Celtic on a season long loan, excellent signing, think we can improve on last year, but for how long ???

Wouldn't shock me to see Sean Maguire rock up at your place on a free. Preston to Fleetwood is a pretty common route these days.

It's been spoken about for the last 2/3 weeks, and that's from my wife's sons who are PNE supporters, fingers crossed as they feel he would be a crackin signing for the Cods

Play him as a No.10 and manage his hamstrings, and I think he'd still be useful at this level. Pulls defenders out of position and draws fouls, his body just isn't up to the Championship any more.

Big shame because he was class once upon a time.

Sounds a bit like Garner who was total class in his prime. We really have a good track record with your club. Barrie Nicholson, Youl Mahwene who have been with us many years and terrific servants.
Graham Alexander, Sean Gregan, Josh Earle and the pie eating centre forward who I think scored 4 times for Preston at Leeds ? Have I missed anyone ?

Am I missing something here? How are Fleetwood intending to fund these relatively well paid signings? If their chief bank roller is in prison, then surely his assets are quarantined?

Fair question mate and that's what none of us know, well I certainly dont. In the last few days 5 development squad players have been added to our academy. The first team are over in Ireland for 7 days playing sister club Waterford and Dundee Utd in friendlies. It's all a bit surreal but sooner or later will come out in the wash eh
