£27 tickets, no trains, on TV and an early kick off. 700ish would be respectable in the circumstances IMO (for us).
Could Swindon open the Stratton bank to home fans then as you will all be in the side stand? Get more in.
Do they ever open it for home fans out of interest? I'm not slagging you off before you start Swindon fans.

They should do because we will not sell out...then again, neither will they...

They should have done there was a debate on the townend about giving cheap tickets to school kids rather than leave it empty bup the club seem to have missed a trick

I would expect about 9,500 to 10k with it being on telly and a small away following

There must be trains with a 12.15 kickoff and the distance...

That's pretty much full isn't it given the crap away support and the SB being closed?
There will be about 2,200 empty seats in the away end and both end of main stands rarely sell out which is another 2k I think the capacity at the CG Is about 14.5k at the moment

Use them then. Your club knew we would never sell out your away end.

Around 4,500 I think. Think the loyalty system is largely in place to reward people who regularly go to away games but I too find it a bit redundant in League 1.

Agree that it's probably pointless for nearly all away games in this league, but for the odd occasion like Tuesday where only 900 tickets are available or for a big cup tie, I guess it becomes pretty useful

EH? The SB holds 2500 doesn't it?
I've just looked it up, 15,728 capacity so no SB = 13,228 and 600 empty seats in the away bit of the side stand (sure we had 1200 in there) = 12,228 so you're pretty full in the home stands with 10K in there. I would expect you to sell this one out as it's a huge game TBH, regardless of TV.

Drive then or get someone to drive. It's only down the road FFS!

I'm going. I'm just saying it is a more difficult awayday than it looks thanks to the circumstances so slagging off our away support for this one is a little harsh IMO.

I'm not bud, I know your away numbers are poor and 700 is quite good for you but it's low for a pivotal top of L1 clash in general.

We had 31 fans in there once in LG 2 :eyes: I think it was either Morecombe or burton
We can beat that. Years ago when home fans weren't allowed in the East end (sob!!) Wimbledon had the whole end (5,500 seats) and brought the grand total of 11 supporters.

If people want to use attendance as some measure of 'my club is bigger than your club' than a % of home attendance against population should be used.

Still just as pointless but with at least a bit of logic behind it.

On this basis, I think Burnley are the best supported team in England

That is a better measure than that stupid home figures v away figures percentage.

I totally agree Dan, just something to talk about on a boring Wednesday night. The 'my club's bigger than yours' stuff is something I generally don't get involved in as it's pointless. Your support is your support just as ours is ours.

Then again, how do you measure the London teams support?

All away attendance talk is bollocks. My conclusion.

All about home numbers.
