We know you're supposedly not in the best financial putting so are trying to have your pants down. May be cheeky but I'd be doing the same tbh.

Going public with it would suggest to me Flitcroft is waning to start a bidding war which is obviously in your best interests and, well, I'd be doing the same again.

Time will tell I guess.

I hope for his sake that he's not trying to get us involved in a bidding war because there is no way we can afford him.

The ladies at Vale Park will be happy with our new signing!
He is just going to love Burslem on a wet cold January evening!!!

I was going to say something similar!

I presume Vale are having to double his wages having to go from a beautiful part of the South of France to a shitehole in middle England?

Probably assume he was on a youth wage there!

Rumours of Paul Konchesky on the ol' twattersphere.
Probably a load of nonsense but we need defenders and there hasn't been any other names bandied about.

Even at 35 think he would be a decent signing, played 35 games for qpr last season so should be fit.

He's now following gills on Twitter so maybe some truth in the rumour

Apparently for a small fee but a decent sell on % according to the Posh chairman, happy with the signing though, we were definitely light in CM.

Paul Konchesky gone to the Gills, good signing. Clearly changed his mind on retiring.

Apparently signing Harry Beautyman. Thoughts please swamp donkey

As I've said previously, good player. I like him. Bundles of energy.

I think we have better, but I'd have certainly kept him him as backup.

Peterborough B you lot these days. Guess you wanted to be us all along!

Always liked Neil Danns, think he'll prove a good signing. The type that would have complemented our young squad quite nicely.

Our 8th signing so far this summer. All look like decent prospects/signings on the face of it. We've even managed to offload Danny Pugh which is great. Happy with our transfers this summer.

I think Leon's the only player we wouldn't let go for peanuts. He was talking about Ajose and Bradshaw going for good fees and he believes he's just as good. Personally I think 500k is reasonable.
Clarke's 31(?), though.

I know but he's the difference between us having a chance of staying up and us going down.

Sounds feasible I suppose.

Hope we don't leave it so late again we end up going down the Balmy route.

Mowbray also said we might need sell people for funds, jesus. 13 out and 3 (4) in and we still need to sell in order to bring players in. Wasn't exactly an encouraging press conference that.
