Why would you venture (usually by foot) over 2 miles away to get away from the dump?

This isn’t a real estate forum, I’m not looking to buy a family home. Of course I’m talking about the areas around the ground and train station.

Dump , as a lot of traditional football grounds are/we’re I.e. baseball ground, Villa Park

Mate you literally said ""the quality of the town/city" - you then went on to call Luton a dump, not "that area near the ground".

We move on.

In other news however, it seems NCFC are cacking it about next week. They've asked Luton to plead with their supporters to not buy tickets in home ends, and even sent strongly worded emails to our boys in the corporate areas setting out strict rules! Rather funny, I thought.

Fairly standard I'd have thought when a team with a large away support is coming to celebrate promotion. Especially if a large home turnout is expected too.

Bit different from last season though when our chairman actively encouraged Pompey fans to invade the pitch :bg:

I’ve never seen a large packed away crowd at Meadow Lane before I’m excited .:eek: I hope it’s a great day for both sets of fans , and a big crowd :£

If you thought that was funny, you should try live stand up comedy, it will blow your mind.

To clarify , from the station to the ground = a dump.
Overall the city = a dump not enough going on

But I’ve only been to Luton and the surround 4/5 times so my view counts for little

Why do Luton feel the need to keep banging on about how massive they think their away support is? You dont see Cov going on about theirs. I agree Luton is a dump:£

None of it compares to when the real big boys used to come into the town when the away fans had the Kop. This was during the period where we were good and punching above our weight. I’m talking Villa, Wednesday, Derby, Stoke, Sunderland, Man Citeh and plenty more. It was an incredible sight and noise luckily we often quietened those huge away supports with an early goal and trust me it was needed. Nobody visiting in the Jimmy Sirrel stand can compete with that.

Still great to see the JS stand full from my excellent view point in the stand opposite and big money for the chairman/club but I’m of an age where I’ve seen it all before and better.

Should be great vs Luton whatever the scenario

That's a cracking video. Hilarious how they still tried to stop the odd one for a few minutes trying to stem the tide frustratingly kicking and manhaldling a few, until they just quit.......Agree we do tend to bang on a bit more than your average club about our support. It's good for a smaller club that's all. We're a passionate lot with all out troubles. Let the good times roll

Cracking effort, got a soft spot for Lincoln, one of the few teams we've not played competitively in my lifetime, cracking how far you've bounced back, helps that my mate works for you too.

1566 officially Notts fans but if there were 250 empty seats in that away end then I’ll get ‘I love ChrisFGR’ tattooed on my arse cheeks as it was rammed.

1541 Coventry fans in the away end and according to Cheltenham fans many, many more in the home ends.

Haven't seen any accounts of our numbers at Stevenage, which is unusual.
