It's a double down bonus for me. If it's called off I should be good to get to the re-arranged match and I get to carry on with this Mansfield postponing games at their own request bit. Not been to FM for a night match before either.

Pitch inspection at 2pm today now, I think it’s suppose to be a tad warmer at that time tomorrow though. Makes me think it’s going to be off.

I agree, think it will be gone, train strikes already making it into a logistical nightmare but wouldn’t be able to get back for a tuesday.

Like bradford shame to see one of the more local games off.

I can’t see why they’d have an inspection at 2 and keep it going.

The club hadn’t even told the ticket office, I was in and bought a ticket as the announcement was made, so I went straight back in for a refund and they were still selling tickets.

You’d think they would’ve even told them there was a pitch inspection taking place etc
Yesterday it looked promising but overnight it really dipped.

Well well well. What an embarrassment Northampton are to league football, it is 2022 and their pitch covers are of a 20th century standard.

Can you not just have stayed down in the non leagues where you belong! How fucking tinpot can you be??

All games will be off bar those with undersoil heating or really specialised equipment that Premier League buy for their ladies team/reserves/feeder clubs (Spurs with Leyton Orient etc), it's been far too cold for any frost covers to see this off.

We’ve got covers on and ours is going to be off as well by the looks of it.

Covers only work down to about -2/-3 - it’s been much colder than that this week.

Tranmere stockport and hartlepool all off.

Ours was always going to be severe doubt. Theres been several nights of sub zero temperatures on the trot here with it not being much warmer in daylight hours and judging by the amount of frost there was this morning when I was going to work last night was particularly cold. Definitely the correct decision to have a pitch inspection today rather than leave it to until tomorrow based on the journey time for Crawley

Colchester P-P Salford.

Temperatures up to 11 degrees on Monday and Tuesday, shame it won't just be pushed back a few days.

Group of 16 year olds from North Lindsey College were sent down to get the pitch ready but failed. So blame us.

Obviously a gag but I’d just like to correct this clear fake news. We’ve never been that tinpot like your Grimsby’s and Stockport’s etc

And find you and Grimsby still in L2
Absolute bollocks. Northampton will be up in League 1 having been up and down about seven times. We'll still be here though, don't worry about that.
