Quite frankly, we’ll be very lucky to stay up, given how strong this division has become. Pretty much a Premier League III at this stage.
I dont think the league is as strong as it was two three seasons back. More teams will fancy to get at least a play/off position
Charlton and Wrexham were awful last season but they grinded out wins.....I doubt George Graham had more 1-0 wins than Parkinsons Wrexham.......Orient recruited well and used the loan System to get into the play-offs....Stockport for me Birmingham apart were the best team in the league and they trod the same path as you are doing this season.
The problem is the teams at the bottom end are decent and are masters of shithouse tactics and will be hard to beat

I definitely underestimated the league last time we came up. The actual general play isn't hugely different but the difference in both boxes , especially amongst the top 10, is huge. We regularly got punished by the opposition who actually only had 1 or 2 clear cut chances in the whole game, but then once ahead, their defence was so strong that you just couldn't get back into a game. Sheffield Wednesday at home comes to mind...they had very few chances, scored from a pot shot and then saw out the game comfortably. Bolton similar in our 2nd season.

I think a team of our resources will have to improve incrementally over a few seasons to be amongst the better teams in both boxes.

I still think back to our 1st season back in the league 3 years ago. We were comfortable in midtable up until Christmas, with some big hitters in that league. We beat Derby and Plymouth away and our squad was significantly weaker than it is now. We started the season with a youth team midfielder playing up front. We must surely be able to improve on that team with a much higher budget. We won't trouble the top half, but I think we'll be relatively comfortable this time.

You have made a great start on the recruitment front Gabriel is a excellent signing for this league
Your kits look great and your season tickets are up.
I thought you would win the league last season....I have no doubts you will stay up

The away one is likely to be in the same vein, imagine it will likely be Black and Gold stripes.

Gabriel looks a decent signing on paper and in an area we are fairly strong in with Headley, Kyle John and hopefully if he resigns Mitch Clark at wing back, all be it I think Mitch may turn down a new deal as we have apparently only offered one year and a trigger due to injuries.

I am fairly confident we will stay up, we beat 6 clubs to Gabriel according to his agent and it came down to picking between us and one other established league one club in the final choice so shows we are going to be competitive in the market which gives us half a chance.

On paper the squad is far superior to either 22/23 and 23/24 sides, if Tolaj can bring his 2025 form into the new season that will go a long way for us too.
