anyway, now the irrelevant posts are dealt with.

Bradford support was tremendous today numbers wise. Not sure on the number but 3500 plus surely.
Photo to be posted later when we get back.

858 Burton. Their club deserves better support than that given the season they're having. Regularly get 3k and over 2k of those didn't make the 30 mile trip in what is simply an unbelievable season for them.
I don't get it. We took 100 more to Crewe and 1600 to Walsall and Coventry which are further. Odd
Its piss poor I admit

That's really poor.

Poor from burton given what they've taken to similar places already. Should be at least a thousand surely

134 Colchester today, fair play to them all.

Strange one. You brought more to us on a Friday night in league 2. Expected over 1200. More fool those that didn't make the trip.
Got nowt to do with Sheep v Florist has it.
Some people sometime soon might have a decision to make in this their my favourite second team town we live in

There is that of course, Derby being the most popular team in Burton.

Not half, read somewhere a while ago that there are 8000 season ticket holders with Burton and South Derbyshire addresses, whether true or not what chance have we got getting numbers up whilst competing with that.

Why do many Swindon? Really good following that

It was a trust initiative as its a localish (88 miles) away game. The aim was for 5k which was never going to happen but hopefully if some of the 'new' fans that went today keep going it's all good.

Apparently it was a good atmosphere in the away end as well today so good work those that travelled.

Awful from Burton, they're top and we must be there closest game.

Fair play how they've come this far with those attendances.

Fair play to every single one of the 134 Colchester fans, I counted 81 just before kick off. Long, long journey home.

Never gave that a thought. Not something I can relate to. Next season could be unreal for Burton. Never mind being in the same league as the likes of Forest, Derby, Wednesday and Leeds, looking likely they'll have Villa and Newcastle look forward to aswell. Well deserved.

Great following from Swindon regardless. We will be bringing around 1300 to you next week for the sky game so should be ok.

With Burton they will build their fan base more and more as they go up but the supporting two teams I don't get. I suppose it's up to Burton to tap into the new generation of fans if they go up to stop them going to Derby games etc.

2582 Bradford.

If Frithy comes on complaining on this one, I'm with him. I would have that being 1000 more than that figure. Probably compensating for putting more on other followings when they seemed much smaller. No way they only had 2582 there today though.

I wasn't gonna mention anything, but that figure is utter tosh - but how many times have we seen it; particularly in Lancashire!

I will sort it in the next 1/2 hour. Just looked again and there is at least 3400 there.
Some followings this season have been exaggerated. Bury being one where 700 was more likely, Swindon was around 250 and it was reported nearly 600. Then today I think was sorting the books out as its comedy when you see the photo.

997 of us at Fleetwood. Meh. Imagine there'd have been a few more had we not already been there this season.

Surely a fair few saving their pennies for a massive blow out at Wembley?

It's honestly not that far to us - under three hours on a good day is not close to being amongst the further trips.

Yep that is far more than 2.5k tbf. I paid on the day at wigan you dont get a ticket so they dont have to bother including you anyway. Looks like 3.5k to me easily.

Infact maybe not that many the 1st 4 rows holds around 800. And empty sides so probably 3k

I estimated 2700 Bradford fans, so 2582 sounds right.

The stand is 4400 at most with the netting, with the 5 main blocks reduced to about 700-750 seats. The two end ones hold around 400 and there was less than 100 combined in both. So that's down to 3700, the two blocks either side were less than half full so that's another 700 off, 3000 max. Probably around 50 spare seats in the very middle block but the two either side had a lot of gaps in, you'd be surprised, standing up makes the gaps less obvious but there was easily a couple of hundred spare seats in the two blocks either side of the middle section. 3000 minus those two sets of 200 gets 2600, which is the given figure.

Bradford fans stood up are you sure? They take good numbers but i swear they are quieter and more boring than us and 95% of them sit down too
