We've taken over 1,000 every time we've been in L2 I think. Probably not this season though as it's been moved to a Tuesday due to the FA Cup.

Yeah I think you probably have. Teams do bring a lot to ours sometimes, it's just quite few and far between. Most use the away end as an excuse, when in reality it's just they don't have the fanbase (in most cases). Nice of Oxford to prove the point really, they were great.

Our away support is pretty good, and has held up well through the season, considering we're pretty much mid table. We tend to make a bit of noise too. I watched the game from the upper tier of the main stand, closer to the Rainham End than the away end, but all I could hear was our fans.

Pretty decent set up under that stand, but an awful lot of empty seats.

That tends to be where the corporate lot sit, so often it's left relatively sparse at best. It's a great view up there but I always feel a little bit cut off from the action..

Yes, it was a corporate do, I went with friends from Maidstone, who are Gills fans. Not my normal thing really, and got a few looks when we scored. Worse thing was the bloody sun in my eyes for the whole of the first half!

Good to know there's a few more of us in this town! I used to have my season ticket in the lower tier of that stand - the sun was the only bad thing about it really!

Not confirmed yet but it will be. Probably be around 1400. 7am set off in minibus for us. Not many of our lot wanted to pay the steep train fare and I thought it was a bit too much messing about on the train too tbh. Train to London, tube to Liverpool Street, train to southend. I'll be there quicker leaving my house at 7am on a minibus than I would of leaving my house at 7am to go to Sheffield train station.

2 weeks notice and lodged in between bury and walsall away I suppose has an effect.
Exactly, very good following even if you only managed the 1.2k.

Have a good'un.

Exactly, anything around 1,500 is decent in my opinion. Surprised that many want to spend the day on the coast at the beginning of January.

1350 sold for southend plus a few potd. 400 left out of our 2500 allocation at walsall so that one will sell out.

Can tell that us and Bolton had shit seasons last season, up 57 and 58% respectively on away numbers.

Wasn't the pleasantest, almost ceasing to exist, bottom of the league, no wins on the road with 19 defeats.

Much nicer this season!!

Good work Walkley pal.

Ours is realistically about as good as it can be. 8 sell outs out of the 12 away games with the other 4 being.

Gillingham Sunday on sky
Coventry Thursday on sky
Shrewsbury Tuesday night
Millwall just a wank following.

A wank following for you guys is an excellent one for us.

Got to admire Sheffield United and their support. Truly envious at times.

The numbers can drop drastically though if we're doing shit. We can have good numbers at times especially if we're doing well which can match virtually any football league team. Other than leeds, villa, geordies.

There will only be those 3 teams and Wednesday with a higher average this season, not that it means fuck all a top 2 spot is what's needed.

6000 Posh going to Chelsea sunday. I can see our average plummeting afterwards in January with joyous trips to Bury, Swindon and Oldham (Tuesday Night) coming up.
