Sold about 500 for our trip to Sheffield United on NYE. Not got mine yet but wouldn't miss the pilgrimage to pay my respects to Sir Chris Wilder.

Is a bit low but really not surprised with Christmas coming up, midweek home game before and our awful away form.

Was so fucking bored it's unbelievable. Got back on the train at 3.30. I love a cup run and it's disappointing that we've not made the 3rd round for the 1st time in our time down in this league. We've got it all on to finish above bolton this year as well.

It wasn't great, but we had essentially our strongest team out (who are fit), I know you made a couple of changes, we aren't great to watch but i'd would rather win than get plaudits for great football and no end product

I know he works hard at getting these figures so i want make sure he gets them right so i hope he reads this and changes it. According to the vale match report there was 1073 vale fans at bradford not the 1049 you have us down for. Not sure if it will make much change to the averages though.

2055 tickets allocated for Bury. I'm presuming that's the end to the right as you look on tv. They will get snapped up pretty quickly so not sure if we can get more these days.

On the side? I noticed bolton didn't have behind both goals like we did a few years ago. Presume that doesn't happen anymore?

Yeah on the side. No one will get both ends anymore due to the police and the fact that everyone comes out at one side of the ground. So it's a health and safety risk. Bolton had 3,250 roughly so you'll have 1095 extra tickets when you sell the 2055.

Sold out initial allocation of 2,083 at Millwall and have today enquired about getting more.

After their shambolic handling of our ticket allocation last time we played there, not hopeful. Have my ticket though, this is our year!

Glad to hear it's not just us... I missed the first half an hour of out cup game there a season or two ago as they had two people selling tickets and two turnstiles open...

Nope, not just you. Last time we played there they allocated us both the upper tier and some of the lower (as was always the case) after we had started selling tickets, Millwall decided we couldn't have the lower tier so we had to stop selling them so would be surprised to see them give us tickets in the lower tier this time round.

Never had any issues getting into the ground in fairness.

Gills have sold 150 for their trip up to our place on Monday night. Commendable effort from those coming up.

I think we took around 180 to Wigan in a similar situation on a thursday back in January, although we were much higher in the league back then (possibly even top?), so this following is distinctly decent in my opinion! Might get it up to around the 200 mark but no more than that.

For a 500+ mile round trip on a Monday night when the game's on telly, 150 sold so far is not bad at all.

Nothing to do with attendances but sky really are a bunch of CU Next Tuesdays for putting games like this on TV. Apart from the jobless (which in Gillingham is probably the majority) and people that live locally, who really is going to jump on public transport/drive miles up north to watch their side on a freezing cold Monday night.

Apart from the total die hards and fans of Bolton and Gillingham, who ACTUALLY is going to make a special effort to watch the game? Its not as if people are going to be racing to their phones to suddenly subscribe to Sky so that they can catch a piece of the unmissable action is it?

In this case, less is almost certainly more.

P.s No offence to either Bolton or Gillingham, it could have been any manner of dross football matches that sky insist on televising.

Would imagine new ground adds a few?

We've played there before, but not since about 2001. I know a lot who were planning on making this one on the original saturday before Sky had their way. I've actually lucked out a little bit. Was never going to be able to make the game anyway, so the fact it's on telly is a bonus I wasn't expecting.

A loyal 406 Coventry fans at Southend. I believe took over 4x that there last season.

It has been bad, but this is the worst. I won't be there on Thursday against Sheffield United in front of the Sky cameras and there will be many more like myself. Would be surprised if 7000 are there.
