Coventry will be shitting it now... at the start of the day relegation looked extremely unlikely for them... an equaliser for Crewe would see them go into the relegation zone (the only team from the bottom 7 who haven't been in the relegation zone yet today)

Probably not something anyone will know or be able to find out, but would this be the most regionalised national league ever?

Loads of southern teams, looks like some great away days potentially for next year, got to feel or Carlisle though, although they could potentially have a formidable home field advantage.
We had a similar league in the Conference one season. From memory there were us, Histon, Stevenage, Grays, Canvey Island, Ebbsfleet, Oxford, Aldershot, Rushden and Kettering. Maybe one or two of those were missing but was a very south eastern league.

Coventry equalise against Crawley, which puts some space between them and the relegation zone, and puts Crawley into it and Crewe out.

The worst-case scenario for us of Colchester, Crawley and Orient coming down is back on.

Colchester score, and they're out, and Crewe, who have been in and out all day are back in.

Time running out, Crewe, Orient and Crawley are currently joining Yeovil down here, what on Earth will happen next?

Coventry 2-1 up at Crawley now, and Crawley's goose seems to have been cooked. Swindon have also equalised against Leyton Orient and they seem doomed, they had to win as well as other results going their way; and Gillingham have a second against County and suddenly there's not much that can happen to change things. Only a Preston equaliser against Colchester.

Full time at Colchester, they've won and that's pretty much that. Orient are relegated and it would take a dramatic injury time turnaroud for County to survive, they're 3-1 down now.

EDIT: County have lost, they're gone. Crewe fans on the pitch.

Gutted we've not got Colchester but Orient is a big gain. Crawley is ok and Notts is as bland as it gets.

Not as bad as it could have been, but I'd have picked Colchester out of the southern teams to have down here... so we could have set up the CUFC mini-league.

Haha. Welcome down bed wetters!

From a purely selfish point of view, that is an almost perfect result the relegated teams.

Nottingham no changes on the train from Luton. Leyton Orient is East London. Yeovil another southern club, but still a fair trek. And Creepy Crawley on their way back to their rightful place in non league.

Notts County will spend whatever it takes to get out of this division next season - its always been the way.

Well....erm....YEEAAAAAHHH!

County weekender and a local derby with Orient, absolutely class.

Feel sorry for the supporters though obviously, horrible feeling relegation and in the manner it happened for County especially it's gutting.

I thank my lucky stars we have your knowledge and insight on these boards.

Greg Abbott, involved in laying the foundations for back to back relegations from League 1. What a guy!

Serious question - will Orient's Italian owners jump ship and plunge them into crisis. Looks like Orient have done a Northampton!

Expect Orient to fly straight back up.

For us, there's some great trips in prospect already. Orient, County, Cambridge, Luton, Oxford, Mansfield, Barnet, Daggers, Wombles and perhaps Pompey. At Uni in Kent so would be much obliged if the London games and Crawley away fall in my term time.

Crawley are tinpot - don't expect them to do anything next season.

Yeovil are tinpot - also don't expect much from them in their first season.

Leyton Orient - could go either way for them. As has been said already, their owners could decide they don't fancy a League 2 battle and just ditch them, leaving them with huge wages to pay. Point deduction at some stage is a possibility. If the owners stay then they should go straight back up.

Notts County - decent side who ought to be challenging at the top next season, but could easily have a relegation battle as we did. Their fans think Liam Noble is good which can't be a good sign for them.

Nice not to have to make too many trips to grim northern clubs next season.

Pleased to have Yeovil back.

I remember telling their fans all about Noble on TFF. I explained that he started well for us and he'll appear to be good on first view because he runs around a lot shouting at the opposition and isn't scared to shoot.

But I expect now they've realised that he isn't actually very good.

Will you be updating that map when all results are answered for, shoddy? Would enjoy showing it fellow Shaymen to make them less lachrymose about our pathetic season end.
