Confirmed our spot with a 3-0 loss and red card to one of the worst teams in the football league, just about sums our season up. Allegedly a top 5 budget but I’m guessing that includes off field staff and stadium rent etc. as I certainly don’t see it in this squad. Andy Cook has been our only striker most of the season.

Looks most likely that Donny Rovers will be confirmed on Saturday barring a huge GD swing which is not especially likely.

Stockport can’t be far off sealing the Conference title either now.

Over a third of the division is now set after the conclusion of the Easter Monday games, with every mid-table also-ran (except Crawley with their irritating game in hand) cementing another season in this glorious division. Doncaster are as good as down unless they can overcome a prohibitively terrible goal difference as well as winning their final two matches. FGR are in a similarly inevitable position at the top of League Two, whilst Champions-elect Exeter still have some work to do… Altrincham, Woking and Lincoln are the only absentees from the last update as results conspired to remove them from the equation.

Get rid of FGR/Exeter/Bristol R/Sutton upwards, welcome down Crewe/Donny/Fleetwood/Morecambe, from the pisspot league Stockport and one of Wrexham/Notts/AFC Halifax/Chesterfield/Grimsby

Strong northern League 2 next season, lovely stuff.

The potential for 5 NW clubs with more pulling power being added to the league would be a nightmare for us.

We're not Northampton....
Sad but true. Thing is League 1 is looking very strong for next season! If you can retain the majority of the core of your squad and then make some additions I think you will survive. But if your best players leave as has happened to us the last 2 occasions then could be a brief journey to league 1.

Can’t wait for our local derbies with Swindon and Northampton.

You could’ve reignited something with Boreham Wood had they not shit the bed in recent months.
or even Frankinstein FC - i'm sure that would go down well in Orient.... they're only one place outside the play offs.

They can fuck right off. As can Boreham Wood. And especially Bromley.

If it’s not Sarfend or Barnet I don’t want any of the south eastern National League clubs. All far too tinpot for words.

Whats tinpot about the Daggers? Built a lovely new away stand a few years ago, always felt like a proper day out.

could be another 5 or so qualifying for this Tomorrow;-
IF Crawley lose to Mansfield they are confirmed as they are if they draw, but Tranmere win.
IF Barrow and Satenage win and Oldham lose then Oldham are down and Barrow and Satanage confirmed.
In L1 IF Gillingham get a point or more then AFC Wombles are down if they fail to beat Fleetwood as are Doncaster whatever their result. A Gillingham win and Morecambe draw sends the Wombles down even if they win.
Stockport need at least 2 more matches to confirm promotion from the National League.

Blooming 'eck.
Gone are the days when nearly everything had been resolved by back end of Easter.

Always enjoyed trips to Dagenham to be fair.. Well, except for the time we got there after 30 mins, just for it to get abandoned after 38 minutes.

Well, the fact that they give the only thing in the ground resembling a football stand to away fans for a start. Horrible little Frankenstein club.

Why is that a problem? I'd rather that than have the crappy bus stop in the corner like some..

Imagine if Exmouth Town and Dartmouth AFC merged, then ate Barnstaple Town because they wanted their players. Then absorbed Ilfracombe Town because they wanted their ground and then consumed Crediton United as an aperitif. Then attracted Plymouth fans who can’t afford to go to Argyle to supplement the few remaining fans of the the body parts they’ve assembled their Frankenstein club from and started singing songs about how much they hate Exeter even before they’d ever played a competitive fixture against you.

Ta-da, you have what Dagenham are to Orient.

TBF what became the true monstrosity of Redbridge Forest swallowed up all the non-league teams in the area between Leyton and Dagenham, and then took over the real Dagenham when they were in the shit and while squatting at their ground.....

I don't mind the Daggers, but ahem the real Daggers died 30 years ago....

And yet didn’t eat four clubs to do so. We were forced eastwards by the FA allowing the original Franchise FC to relocate. Another reason why we are ‘Orient’, not ‘Leyton’, as being discussed on another thread.
