Didn't see a thread about it but some Leicester youth players have been filmed participating in an orgy in Thailand, they also throw out some racist abuse during the video just to make it that little bit better for them.

Players involved are James Pearson (Nigel's son), Tom Hopper and Adam Smith.

I don't think they should lose their careers over this, it was a victimless crime until someone stuck it on the net. They're young, they're stupid, so fine them hard, make them make a public apology, send them for some racial sensitivity training and be done with it.

Victimless, with the exception of the three women they abused, belittled and degraded. I'm not sure what was going on in their heads to treat other humans like that, even if you ignore the racial comments, which is what will land them in the most trouble.

I never said it was OK, in fact I think I made pretty clear that I thought it was not OK. What I did say was that it was victimless until the video was released. We can quibble over the exact meaning of the word I suppose, but I take it to mean someone who has been harmed in some way.

Whether they became a victim before or after is irrelevant given the fact they now are victims. I agree with you as far as punishment but there are victims now and that's due to their stupidity not just what they said but filming it and sharing it.

If you want to be totally mercenary about it, then the victim (albeit only after the video was released) is Leicester City. They were in the country on official club business, to help promote the club to Thailand and were caught racially abusing the locals.

It is typical of the media to label them "Premier league stars" when they've hardly kicked a ball in anger for the 1st team.

I think that is part of the problem - these youngsters think they have made it and do what they like...afterall look at some of the role models around!
