Leicester have rolled the dice and have landed on 89, the slide continues for them.

1-0 Bournemouth.

Probably should have beaten Leicester at home early in the season, the last gasp pen from Vardy starting his run of goals. The two major injuries in that game keep it fresh in the mind.

We've improved since then, bit obviously Leicester have gone on to be a force worth reckoning with.

Last time I was at the King Power, we lost 2-1 to a keeping error in another game I felt hard done by!

So I reckon we're due a little something to go our way against this lot.

Big question marks over the fitness of both Josh King and Junior Stanislas, the two catalysts of our recent good form. So I'm not entirely sure how our attack will line up. Depending on paperwork we could have Jaun Iturbe available which could be interesting.

Can't beat a good train away day. I gather the station is a 20-30 min hike from the ground, not too bad is that right?

Nah, it's gonna take you at least an hour of some of the most challenging inner city terrain that the planet has to offer. Alternatively yeah about 25 minutes if you head down Waterloo to Nelson Mandela park.

King should have put Bournemouth 1 up. A pretty hopeful lofted ball that looks like it's going out is pulled back in by Stanislas and King misses from almost point blank range with the goal at his mercy. Really lazy from Simpson and Kaspar to just assume the ball was going dead.

Two days into the new year and you won't see a much worse miss than that header from King. What we gain in his pace upfront the we lose in any type of composure sadly

And Vardy should have scored and hit the inside of the post. Should be 1-1 then...

Mahrez unusually taking some heavy touches. Well, just 2 so far, but for him that's a lot.

And now Gosling blazes over from about or 9 yards out. Don't think Bournemouth want to score....

And then Vardy goes the other end and rolls it in front of the line. It's like a game of who can't score?

Vardy and Gosling joining in the missing sitters party.

Pretty good game this but I feel we're going to be hurt by our wastefulness

Gosling buys a free kick by jumping into Drinkwater and Stanislas puts in one of those free kicks that really puts the shit up you cos it looks like it might fool the keeper and go straight in despite being a cross. Bounced over though.

How the fuck have we not scored here? Couple sitters missed, also LeicesteLLeicester missing a great chance.

The plastic clapping crap is doing our heads in. Show us your voice Leicester.

Done ok so far, need to be more clinical in the final third though, as ever. No idea why Arter has been booked, considering all the other challenges that have gone in.

Think 2-1 Bournemouth would be a fair reflection of that half. We've come out better in the second half for the majority of our games so hopefully that stays the case. I can see Ulloa coming off for Okazaki as the Argentine has been pretty poor with his first touch and our best chance came from him completely fluffing his own shot.
There should be goals in this game but both sets of players seem determined to surprise us on that front with piss poor finishing.

The replay shows that yet again we've been buggered by an awful decision. Poor penalty but we're now going to have to hold out with 10 men.

Think the sending off turned out pretty badly for us, if it were 11v11 and we missed the penalty I think we'd have carved out better chances because Bournemouth would have tried to win the game. Shows we need a striker to play with Vardy because Ulloa and Okazaki don't cut it. Boruc got some decent crossing practice too.

Excellent point all things considered. Both teams missed sitters but there's no doubt when down to 10 it was a bus parking job, something we're notoriously bad at, but the inevitable goal didn't come through a combination of Boruc and some excellent defending.

Can't believe Leicester fans were heading for the exits with 5 minutes to go, they looked seconds away from scoring

Once we went two defensive rows of 4 and hit it long to Murray, we looked pretty sure of ourselves. Even if though Murray was dire at holding the ball. The midfield and defence 4 held strong and the Leicester attacks were very repetitive.

Still a good effort to hold out under the pressure mind.

Should have scored first half, but eventually its the sort of Draw survival is built on.

We've just put the brakes on so we don't have too many offers for our players in the window. We created some decent chances so nothing to worry about really. We just didn't take them because, y'know, we're trying to get back off the radar or something.

I think you might be losing Marhez regardless. The rest of the season is likely to determine for how much.

His goal & assist stats aren't that far off what Sanchez and Hazard managed last season already, aren't they?

Having seen the penalty back a few times, feel pretty hard done by there. Again. Only weeks after Mariner's last highly dubious penalty against us at Swansea.

Of course once the ref decides to give it then the law says red card, but all together it's hard to take.

I saw Howe had a long chat with the ref after the game.

One match suspension which will be the FA Cup game, which apparently Francis was due to be rested for anyway, so Howe says. Although the option is there to appeal.

You won't appeal it. Like you say it's a one game suspension for a match he was likely not going to play anyway. If you appeal and you lose, which you will, then he'll be suspended for a league match because it'll likely still be being sorted when the FA cup games roll around.
