Can't see Leicester turning around their fortunes here, but stranger things have happened.

Now we have regained our underdog (read: shit) status we are ready to catch everyone off guard and march our way to victory all over again, starting here. 2-0 easy.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
City apparently haven't lost to the reigning champions for five years.

Watching with one eye but that third was reminiscent of Leicester at their absolute best. Fantastic touch from Mahrez. Can see City getting back into it though if they get an early goal. Will have to find another way than crossing and hoping that Ihaehahehaeonhaenacho can beat Huth and Morgan in the air.

Good grief! I've got £10 on Man City to win this... it was supposed to be a banker. Useless *&^%s!

Getting £50m for Stones has to be the crime of the century.

City have so much quality in their side, but that defence is an utter shambles at the moment. Bravo and Stones seem to take turns making errors.

So, from 6 wins on the bounce to 3 in their next 9. A bit of a baptism of fire for Pep in the English top flight.

I think it's harsh to blame Stones, at least based on yesterday. He was playing in a back three with two full backs, one of whom has no positional discipline - I don't think many defenders would look good when they're as exposed as he was.

I don't think we can blame the system for a bad back pass though?

Also my comment wasn't just based on that game, Stones has been a liability all season.

You kind of can, actually. It's quite common for teams trying to develop their play from their back; early days under Rodgers we had quite a few horrible back passes, with the one against City in the first game the standout example. You won't see that kind of pass in from a Pulis-team, so while it is an individual error, the system heavily increases the chance of it happening in the early days.

No it's still an individual error though right? I'm mean that's a lot of words for saying fuck all really.

The system increases the chance of individual errors. You said "you can't blame the system", which I disagree with. Of course it can't be blamed entirely, but neither can the player which is why I agree with what Veggie originally said; "I think it's harsh to blame Stones".

As for "a lot of words for saying fuck all really", I don't even know what to respond to that. I was merely trying to say out that individual errors can be systemic, which isn't a very controversial opinion.
