I don't think it would necessarily leave them with no choice - they seem desperate to keep him for the remainder of the season.

I read somewhere that it's because they don't want to give Giggs the job even as an interim. If he does well there'll be too much pressure to appoint him and thats far too big a risk for us in our current state. Not to mention the baggage it brings if and when he fails

A small passage of play summed Man Yoo up a few mins ago. They got the ball wide to a player in acres of space, nobody within 15 yards of him, it was 4v4 in the box, rather than putting the ball in he stops and plays the safe 5 yard pass back inside and the move breaks down. It's like they're trying not to score.
