They say Depay is decent in the Europa League but shite against Premier League teams. What would happen when both scenarios happened on the same night, the world wondered?

He gives away a penalty.

Liked Michael Owen's comment. "You cannot slip over there." Yeah, Smalling. You cannot accidentally do that.

Fortunately there's no commentary on for me, just the crowd.

Depay was a bit of a free kick specialist at PSV, has he actually done anything with one at Man Utd?

I've got a Russian stream on. The commentator keeps saying something that sounds like "shitnicky".

Liverpool will be happy but they should definitely have given themselves a better lead.

can only hear man yoo fans me. liverpool lot have done a bit of booing and whistling as always mind.
It's the same all over England, the away fans always sound far and away the most. Amazing how the atmosphere has been killed, not only at Anfield but pretty much everywhere bar Crystal Palace.

Anyway, as others have said, we should be 3-0 up. De Gea is ridiculously good at times.

So far as the commentary goes I think Owen set the tone early on with some bizarre comment about those STRANGE CONTINENTAL TYPES and their PECULIAR WAYS (made in reference to a yellow card being issued in response to a studs up, waist high challenge which would definitely have merited a booking in England too).

My only other observation basically amounts to sheesh, United are really bad, huh?

No complaints on the score so far. Good thing De Gea is playing. Thought it was a penalty myself lets hope Liverpool regret only scoring 1 so far

Aaaaaand we've taken off a striker (that was playing on the wing) for a centre mid (that is playing centre back) to accommodate a three at the back system that has never worked for us!

Is Herrera injured? United must have SOMEONE who can control and pass a ball better than Schneiderlin and Fellaini.

Also what type of full-back is Varela supposed to be? I've seen nothing to suggest he's a good one so far, but also don't know what his strengths are supposed to be.

Was Brendan Rodgers responsible for making Jordan Henderson captain of Liverpool Football Club? If so he should be sacked.

Carrick on for Rashford and the swap to a 3412 was a masterstroke, after all.

2-0 after a Carrick fuck up.
