Well they did get Firmino instead of the "Next Ronaldo" Depay. :D

The same Firmino you all wrote off as a clown whilst myself and G.B were trying to enlighten you.

And leave Depay alone, he had horrendously ugly football boots made to honour his mother on mother's day.

I woke up. The pain and sickness all over me like an animal. Then I realized what it was. The music coming up from the floor was our old friend, Ludwig Van, and the dreaded Ninth Symphony.

Never doubted him once, after he joined us!

Last night was like watching two old men in the pub who used to hard, scrapping the corner trying to relive former glories. Lots of soft punches swung and missed whilst the new order sit quietly sniggering at how the once mighty have fallen.

Why don't Aldershot Town go into the pub and say that to United and Liverpool's face, eh!?

We did 3 years ago but got our arses kicked, but you were still reasonably hard then so we asked for it.

You know something's wrong when you're Manchester United and you have Schneiderlin playing but Carrick and Schweinsteiger on the bench.
Agreed maybe we could have scored more goals if Carrick started.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Funny that, where were all the bleeding hearts during the endless years of Liverpool singing the 'Munich 58' chants? Alwaysthevictimpool FC strike again.

Ah yes. The old 'two wrongs = a right' gambit.

Ideally, everyone would just stop. It's tedious and makes football fans look like abject wankers and cretins.

(Yes. Including City fans who chant anything about Munich. They too, are hoofwanking cockgoblins.)

Jesus. A sensible post from Silkyman.

At least he never got to see me say that.

Absolutely correct. I was just (badly) highlighting that for years plenty of odious Liverpool supporters have sung their filth about Munich, but as soon as someone mentions Hillborough they, and the press, get all sanctimonious and jimmies get rustled. Hypocrites.

Everyone knows that both sets of fans have a few dickheads that have sang sick songs for years, however last night sounded like most if not all of the away fans.
I hear you lot allowed Manc flags to be plastered all over The Brick... Proper scouse that!

Our worst performance this season.

I can't see Liverpool not scoring at Old Trafford, so the tie is effectively over.

Yeah it will be tough for united. Both attack and defence will have to play their best game to come out of this one as winners.

Yeah there is more chance of Everton winning the FA Cup than that happening but you don't let the bitterness get the better of you toddles.

And Halley's Comet comes around more often than Everton winning a trophy. ;)

Btw have Everton ever won the UEFA Cup? Thought not...
