Had to get the thread title in before NolansOrient came up with something nonsensical about a track off the My Iron Lung EP.

Luton are Massive enough that they're going to sell out their allocation, unlike some others I won't mention (hullo the champions elect & Cambridge), so the game has been made all ticket.

Should be a goody with both teams in reasonably good form at the moment, albeit with wild inconsistency on the O's part, and Luton's three consecutive wins being against the most out-of-form teams in the division. Looking forward to seeing Scott Cuthbert back on the Brissie turf; he was an excellent servant and one of the (very) few players who didn't deserve to be relegated last season.

We are toss at home, so it'll be 1-2, I reckon, bringing the visitors right into the playoff mix. Frightening, considering how abject they've been this season. Terrible division.

Surprised we sold out our allocation so quick - I bought a ticket the night before.

Actually I would have gone for something better, like 'Cheshire Flats vs Mad Hatters' or something even cleverer, but I suppose this week we can settle for your nonsense instead of mine (although I do like River Pleyton...)

Orient to win 3-1.

Luton are abject and the Os continue to improve, injuries may be costing us, if Mcanuff is back it'll be a big boost.

7 points from a possible 9, yet the table still doesn't look that attractive for the Orient, too many teams on too many points this year...

C'mon Luton, you can do it :bravo: In case you're unaware, notwithstanding the fact that we failed to sell out our allocation, we beat L'orient quite easily and the result was never in doubt. One of those comfortable wins where we were simply superior throughout the whole 90 mins. And we failed to sell out too.

Not surprised you are looking forward to seeing Cuthbert again, I would think your centre forwards would be very much looking forward to it too!

Be a good test on Saturday and im looking forward to it. We've won 3 games against 3 incredibly out of form teams so an away game against a playoff chasing side will be a step up and a real test for if we can finish a largely unforgettable season with a decent little run of form.

What about Barceluton?

I'm sure that I saw Messi score last Sat - oh no, it was Lee doing his copycat act.

Whereas, this season he does. He's been dreadful all season and not a captain, at all.

Are you the bloke who stands behind and spends the whole game swearing at Cuthbert?

Admittedly he has been shite, but that bloke gives me earache. At one point Tuesday, Jake failed to cut out a cross field to their winger and w screamed "FUCK SAKE CUTHBERT, SORT IT OUT!!". Strange fellow.

We'll lose 3-1.

Hopefully Nolan starts with 4-4-2 and gives Simpson a partner, as his ability is limited down when he is up top on his own.

Palmer or Gnanduillet to start?!

Will Nolan play three in a week?! He looked totally fucked by the end of Tuesday, last few minutes he was labouring.

We'll lose.

Still completely unconvinced about Hunt. Watched Tuesday's match back and the amount of time he got done by Hallam Hope (hardly a world beater) was absolutely shocking.

Still a game of two teams going through transitional periods for me.

As much as the playoffs are a minimum required for us this season, I'm not overly fussed if we miss out because we won't win them even if we somehow scrapped through. Won't need to go through the bother of them and a Tuesday night loss away at Accrington or Plymouth if it comes down to that.

There have been improvements under Nolan, but its still going to take alot of time and rebuilding to make our team steadier and more confident. Plus certain players need to be released and we need to start over.....yet again after Hendons poor signings last summer, or lack of.......

Hopefully Jobi McAnuff can come back into the team, hopefully we play 4-4-2 - I'd start Gnanduillet over Palmer - who is better as an impact sub.

Luton will be back in the playoff mix if they win.

We will lose.

Oh and I found out on Tuesday night that we tried to sign Sylvain Ebanks-Blake from Chesterfield (Pay money for him) but the deal fell through on transfer deadline day.

Doesn't look good for Justham. Tyler gets injured and in comes a loan 21yo and goes straight into the starting side......

Could well be. Talk that Tyler isn't injured too - but could be just that - talk.

Good thing your players didn't give up then, unlike some of your fans. Too many more or less similiar sides this year, and by that I mean too inconsistent, with only Northampton and Oxford having that little extra over the others imo.

Disappointing, don't see why this couldn't have waited until the end of the season. With our pick up in form we don't need anything upsetting the apple cart. Expected better from Tyler.

How was the new keeper then?If he's any good then surely you'll look at a longer loan.

Good, really solid. Excellent when coming to claim high balls. Tyler rarely left his line so that was refreshing.

What an absolutely fantastic result that was. I would've snapped your hand off for a point from today but we were resolute, hard working and everything a fan would want from a team.

Scott Cuthbert obviously read my comments before this game because he was as solid as a rock.

Leyton Orient were very wasteful; they had almost all of the possession but barely made Mitchell make a save.

On the new keeper - what a performance. For someone playing his first pro league game he was excellent. He's got a massive future.

I take back my comments about this season being a write off!

Thought first half we just about shaded it and, second half was all about resiliency. We defended superbly, Scott Cuthbert was immense not sure where that centre half we saw today has been all season but he was superb. Would have liked to see us keep hold of the ball a little better that second half as we invited pressure on ourselves somewhat but for all the pressure Orient didn't really create a decent chance.

As for playoffs still not convinced we'll make them but at least the end of the season now is a bit interesting.
