Manchester United v Arsenal
Old Trafford

Manchester United have been a mess this season - seriously, who loses at home to Norwich? - but still find themselves in the top five. Having lost to Sunderland and Midtjylland, they managed to find their level and halt the slide against League 1 relegation fodder. With back-to-back league wins, Arsenal appear to have come through their sticky patch to keep their title hopes alive (until they bottle it, obviously).

Form: Manchester United – W W D L L W / Arsenal – W D W W D L

3 games in 6 days for us. This and away to Spurs is a tough list. Hoping we don't get an injury. If only we could stretch the premier league out by a few weeks then there would be no need for this fixture congestion. Luckily we have a fairly large squad, and could beat most teams with a reserve team, like we did when Flamini smashed Spurs.

United won't be well rested as they play tomorrow night, and also they're awful. When was our last league win at Old Trafford, 2006? No excuse for not winning this one really.

If you could please use "in all competitions" instead of "league", that'd be fantastic.

Mike Dean is the 4th official. 1-0 to United. Most controversial goal of the season incoming.

2-0 Arsenal IMO, can't see united scoring especially given their current lack of striker. Also don't think they'll cope with Ozil, reckon he'll grab a goal ;)

Arsenal must be Huge favourites for this. Even Lawro thinks they'll win

If Lawro predicts it then go for the opposite result.

It's that time of the season where Arsenal's hopes and dreams capitulate. A week ago I was confident United would get something from this game, because it's just what Arsenal do, as well as getting knocked out of the Champions League. However, with all the injuries and a strike-force with no recognisable names, I can't see United scoring. The best they can hope for is a 0-0, but I think Arsenal will avoid capitulation for another week. They'll score at least once.

0-1

Welbeck, rubbing it in. Could do with him right now.

Arsenal fans already making excuses. If Arsenal can't beat this injury ridden United team then they are really hopeless. #chokenal

There's injuries to our side but no excuses. LvG fucked it up enough with fit players that he's put the pressure on himself with games like this.

I predict a loss because of the predicament and quality of the opposition, but I'll be pissed off if it happens.

Arsenal will bottle it today. A game they need to win but I don't think they will.

It's my twin daughters first birthdays today (the little shits) so I'll miss the match. Every game I've missed this season we've won though. Time for a change?

To be fair Steve it's not their fault that you decided to get freaky when you did.

Dogshit from Varela. The one man keeping Monreal a mile onside is the one man that appeals to the linesman.

And he's on a yellow now. He must have been impressed with Danny Simpsons performance against Sanchez and is aiming to replicate it.

Monreal has the beating of Varela so far. Surely Arsenal can stretch a centre back partnership of Carrick and Blind.

Why didn't Pawson book the player who brought Rashford down just outside the area but has booked both Man United players for their first offence?
