Good appointment by Leyton Orient in my opinion, especially at this level. I would expect them to be serious contenders next season for promotion

I notice Mark Cooper has leapt up to be a close 2nd fav for the Barrow gig.

Well the club mouthpiece has name dropped Adams this morning as being set to take over. Must be all agreed for him to do it.

Still can't get my head around why he'd want to leave/how he's been conducting our recruitment etc but here we are.

Have you a link / source for that?

Local journo has just tweeted that Rob Edwards is in the frame for the FGR role. Currently in charge of England U16s.

Pretty sure that Jimmy Ball was in charge of our U18s...so it looks like we might be set for a trend of working our way back through the age groups...only a few more appointments and we get a midwife in charge of the team!

I think he’s an under-16s coach - maybe with England.

I coach an u10s team - could be me in the frame soon...

Is that the Rob Edwards who was in charge of Tranmere Rovers in 2014 for 12 games. I know there are several.

According to wiki he commentates on some of your games on iFollow. Not sure if that's right though.

Not him. The Rob Edwards you seem to have in mind might have been AFC Telford United manager once.

Yeah according to wiki he briefly managed Telford in 201-18 and now coaches the England u16's as well as doing iFollow for you. Someone's probably got their Rob Edwards' mixed up.

Wikipedia not fact checking isn't a surprise. I think the Rob Edwards who managed us is at a premier league club academy down south.

Imagine being so obscure that even fans of the club you managed don't know where you are.
Nobody knew where he came from when he joined and nobody cared where he went when he left. Cheap option by Peter Johnson. Sacked by Mark Palios very soon after buying the club.
A fair number of our supporters are getting excited by news of Mickey Mellons impending departure from Dundee United.

What are your thoughts on the possible return of Micky Mellon, Rob? Personally think it’s unlikely though wouldn’t say no.

Same as you. Probably more likely to be Dave Challinor. Hartlepool fans seem to think he is on his way.

The Mark Cooper rumours are getting stronger up here - someone has also noticed that Richard Dryden has started following the clubs twitter account - and the BBC Radio Cumbria Barrow commentator has started following Dryden.
