I wanted Clarke but as you say he's gone to Cheltenham. I think Leam Richardson would be my number one pick.

Suddenly, our defeat at Tranmere has become a good result. We should have done it earlier and contacted Bruno before Hudders stepped in.

I wanted Clarke but as you say he's gone to Cheltenham. I think Leam Richardson would be my number one pick.

Genuine question Bradford fans…. Is the squad good enough for a promotion push?

Apart from Lewis, Pattison and Cook do any other players stand out at this level?

They are pretty much the 3. Some have had very good careers like Smallwood and McDonald but are past their best.

Apart from Lewis, Pattison and Cook do any other players stand out at this level?

No is the short answer, last year the reliance on Cook was ridiculous and fortunately he had the season of his life. The same can be said again this season, if Cook doesn’t score who does? Point being the squad as a whole doesn’t contribute enough which you’d expect from a promotion side.
We made a massive deal out of playing 352 with wingbacks over the summer, it failed so badly we dumped it early doors but had recruited a lopsided team over the summer that had no wingers till late on, no striker brought in to match Cook, Critchlow and Scott Banks weren’t replaced. Today is a result of seeds sown over a badly planned preseason.

Agree. Wanted him gone for a while but never really disliked him. Suppose he'll be happy enough doing the odd bit for SKY and the like.

Also handing out new contracts to players who aren't good enough, like Hendrie and Ridehalgh then getting rid a few months later anyway. We only needed a few tweaks to that playoff team and we completely changed the formation. Bringing in Ash Taylor is a sackable offence for Stephen Gent.

I like the sound of Richardson, who’s from Leeds originally if that means anything, another fuddy duddy will have fans moaning in no time, would be happy with a younger guy.

Walker is a very clever player but we have a very big squad of ordinariness, all signed by Hughes on contracts.

What kind of football do they play? Hughes' football was largely dreadful. Haven't had decent, attacking football at City for years. Hoping to see it return with the next appointment.
