Horseman soon to be put out to pasture sooner rather than later if the boos at the end tonight are anything to go by.

They’ve tried a psycho, a woman and a human-animal hybrid - what will Swampy try next?

He can get to fuck. Just another Derek Adams
Don't, just don't. I wouldn't wish him on anyone, he was utterly dire here. Even when winning the football was painfull. Other than the Wrexham result it's been soul destroying.

Said early last season that if Hurst doesn't sign a striker that can score goals he will have failed, 3 windows later and still no one in sight.

Quite clear the fans are now against him. The problem with our squad has been obvious since our last relegation, this is now the 3rd season under Hurst and he still hasn't figured out how to score goals, and what's worse is the only thing that saved him was not conceding stupid goals at the other end which we can no longer do.

Play-off win, and FA cup run hid the fact we couldn't score goals, and its unforgivable that the FA cup money has been wasted and not found a decent goal scorer in 3 seasons.

Not listened too or watched any game this season other than Bradford so can't comment on performances, the results speak for themselves, but doesn't look like I've missed much.

Bradford don't have to hurry because of the results and performances, although that's obviously creating new problems because anyone coming in is upsetting a functional apple cart.
It does sound as though Gillingham are going through an inflated recruitment process, and maybe have too many people running the show. if it was Scally who was responsible for Harris' sacking (I thought Scally was basically a silent partner these days) plus Jackett, Hess and Galinson all involved in the manager search, plus the sense from Galinson that they've talked to loads of applicants, it's no wonder it's taking ages.
I've no idea what Tranmere are up to.
How many potential managers do you really need to speak to when there's some obvious strong candidates?
Maybe clubs have spoken to the obvious candidates and didn't think it was a good fit.
I'm not in any hurry for Bradford City to appoint someone, though maybe McDonald is so he can focus on playing.
Nobody does. "Sack the board" going around the away end for a decent amount of the game tonight. A propos de moi, be careful what you wish for, but without some degree of communication soon, it's going to turn very toxic.

Always look forward to Donny away but won’t be bothering unless I see the words ‘Club Statement’ on our twitter feed today.

Even if he stays and wins a couple, the damage is done and he absolutely has to go for the good of everyone

I thought the list of candidates looked a bit grim and now it's getting worse...

Dean Holden is an appointment I wouldn't be able to get behind.

So looks like we’re gonna wait until we’re actually in the relegation zone and even deeper in the shit before we act.

Nice one.

Think this is the likely outcome personally.

Lindsey is a good coach. Our coaching staff rated him very highly when they discussed him last season even when Crawley looked they may go down under him

Only thing I will say is he is very much passing it out from the back, quite wide open. The antithesis to what Gillingham were under Harris, I know that is possibly what these owners want but could be a culture shock at first. And by hook or by crook the more defensive style has got Gillingham up there early doors.

Someone like Lindsey could elevate what is a good squad of players or it could go tits up.

Will take patience because Gills will have to get spending again to get a squad more in line with him.

We have a lot of players who would probably benefit from player a more technical style of football to be honest, and it might make the most of our forward options. Jonny Williams and Lapslie have struggled to make much of an impact since joining the club, but most of the time they're watching the ball go straight past them. Nichols and Bonne are also clever players who it could benefit, so if we can get that bit right at the top end of the pitch then we'd be onto a good thing. We already know we can defend.

I don't think it'd take much for the players to be won over by a new style, but it might take the fans a while.

Will Gillingham please leave us alone!

Our keeper, two forwards and now, it seems, our manager.

Rumour is he and Nadersan didn't get on.

Re Lindsey's style. It is a passing game but he doesn't really like sideways passing for the sake of it. It is open. 3 at the back spread wide means if one gets beaten there are holes all over the place.

I'm not sure he is any good at changing things up when it is going wrong. Like for like subs is the rule.

It's good to watch but I'm not sure how effective it will be against the better sides.

I'm assuming that unlike the other three, WAGMI wouldn't just let us have Lindsey for some pork scratchings and a 6 pack of Fanta?

As Casey says, it's more the defensive set up where it could be an issue. Not just playing out from the back but every time I've seen them it's been really split centre halves, stepping into positions etc. Gillingham on the opening day at ours were a very rigid low block style defence and it suited the personnel. It could take a big coaching job to alter it.

But if it worked and it allowed some of the attacking players you mention to have more ball then it could be great.

We do the low block really well, we've a very disciplined lot who are pretty experienced and can carry out that (pretty basic) form of defending. I've thought for a while we'd suit a back 3 anyway to be honest though. Shad Ogie is a superb left sided centre half who can carry the ball out comfortably, Masterson or Robbie McKenzie equally adept at doing it on the right. The only defender we have who is a pure 100% 'get rid' defender is Max Ehmer, but playing centre of a three might suit him as he's a decent organiser. I think we'd need extra legs in central midfield if anything to play a Lindsey style, Williams just can't get about much and Coleman is more of an enforcer than anything else, but he's good at it. Think we'd need a little mo!re finesse in there.

Time will tell of course, depends who comes into the job! Still all speculation as far as I'm aware.

Apparently, no manger in before the weekend, and as its fa cup next week there is a chance no new manager before then but will have a new man in before Wrexham
The delay says to me that we are going after a currently employed manager and negotiations are on going with their current club
