Our best performances of the season has come at a point where only 2 of last years summer signings are in the first team. (3 yesterday with Rojo playing but he only played as Smalling was sick)
The first time we put a good run together this year was when a lot of the new boys were out too.
This makes a mockery of the idea we need to go out and spend 200 million on 5 players again this summer. Such an influx of players will only destabilize us and cause the same problems as this year. We should signing 3 players at the absolute max and I'd prefer to keep it down to two.
Also as one of my posts wouldn't be complete with a dig at the incompetent one Van Gaal getting the best or not far off out of of the players Moyes had at his disposal shows how wrong he and his apologists were laying the blame squarely at Sir Alex and the players he left.

Really surprised to see a few people suggest Mata is a potential to be moved on this summer. He's one of United's most talented players.
Is it because he doesn't fit the system? In which case, I'd argue a system that doesn't get the best out of two of your best players (Mata and Di Maria) needs to be changed.
Or do people just not rate Mata at all?
