Altrincham v Woking (7pm)
Barnet v Yeovil Town (7:45pm)
Chesterfield v Eastleigh (7:45pm)
FC Halifax Town v Hartlepool United (7pm)
Notts County v King’s Lynn (7:45pm)
Solihull Moors v Dagenham & Redbridge (7pm)
Sutton United v Bromley (7pm)
Wealdstone v Boreham Wood (7:45pm)

With Torquay not in action, three of the chasing pack have the opportunity to make gains in the title race. Will Halifax be able to get their home game against Hartlepool on? Can Notts take advantage of King’s Lynn fiscal predicament?

Sutton play Bromley in a South London suburbia derby match. It’s not only a chance to gain ground on Torquay but to avenge our FA Cup defeat.

Chesterfield v Eastleigh is the one I'm interested in. Two of the form teams. Chesterfield seemed to have not turned up against Stockport in the last game, but their results up till that point have been impressive so we might see a reaction.

Pretty much all the other games have obvious looking winners.

Should be winning at home to Lynn really. Most of our pre-match talk is about our reserve right back and centre back getting injured and having to go out to sign cover, which feels a bit first world problems.

Roberts’ comeback lasted 10 minutes and he’s out again, which is annoying.

What was the Roberts’ news?

What was the Roberts’ news?

Didn’t say exactly, but seemed to suggest that it isn’t a new injury as such but that those few mins against Stockport told them that he needs to do a lot more work in training before he’s genuinely ready. Seemed a bit pissed off actually, said something weird like he’d ‘taken it out of the hands’ of Roberts and the physio. Maybe a case of him being so desperate to play that he isn’t being entirely honest with himself about where he’s at.

The weird nature of the fixture list means that we really need to take the time to get it right. Even if it’s another month, that’s still 15 games to play.

No reason weather wise why we won't be playing tomorrow night. However hasn't the covid testing started? So noone knows what that is going to cause.

If the game does go ahead. Who knows what we will produce. Will it be a Barnet performance or a Torquay performance?

We haven't played at home since January so I'm just looking forward to watching a game.

2-1 Halifax

The frustrating thing with our game against KL is that is could quite literally be pointless.
Surely the league (yeah I know they won't, I have worked them out now) will take a stance on Dover, as week by week more and more can just say we aren't continuing unless they do.
The way I see it is as soon as clubs in the bottom 3 say we are stopping that could open the floodgates for others. Yes there is no relegation but the has to be serious questions answered about how the league will handle the teams not playing.

Has to be a sanction. The most viable option will be a points deduction of say -15 or 20 for the start of next season.
I can't believe they haven't stated the punishments already.

There may yet be relegation as the rebel clubs are still in negotiations with the NL about playing on and having promotion. I don't see how the NL can tell all clubs that there is no relegation and 4 weeks later change their minds.

Any team that refuses to play when the league have decided to carry on should be automatically relegated. It's not out of spite but as recognition that they've failed in their duty to fulfil their fixtures.
I understand Kings Lynn or Dover can't afford to play on and that's fair enough but the league have to get ahead of this and make clear that maximum sanction will be applied, otherwise every team up to Woking may as well down tools.

Anyone played Eastleigh recently? No idea on what to expect from them such as style of a play etc... I just know they’re going well in the league this year and it always seems to be a tough game against them whenever we face up

For us though, vital we put Saturdays defeat behind us ASAP with a win, and the sooner we do that the better!! So 3 points would do just nicely ...

Are Kings Lynn actually going to fulfil tomorrow’s fixture? I thought they were stopping after Saturday.

No they have stated they will fulfil the next 2 games aswell. That's only come out today though as far as I know.

It’s almost inevitable tommorows game will get called off last minute. This Hartlepool game seems cursed. Calling a late postponement due to weather or covid.

If by some miracle we do end up playing, a lot will depend on how we play. We are very consistent at being inconsistent. Never know which team is going to turn up.

Another season ending injury for our young loanee from Sheff United picked up in a friendly against Huddersfield on Friday. In terms of key/long term injuries, we must be up there.

If KL say they are playing the next 2, whats the point? What are they expecting to happen? The 28th Feb has now passed. The League HAVE to make an official announcement.
Notts play tomorrow and by next week the game could have been wiped off the records.

The integrity of the league is getting more farcical by the day. If I were the owner of Vanarama id be quiet annoyed with my brand name being associated with a mess thats now national tv news.

We need to be better away from home if we're gonna keep up with the top teams, last away at Wrexham we created enough chances but just wasted them all.

These are the sort of games we come unstuck in, when optimism is at an all time high we find a way to hang ourselves, 2-1 either way.

Yeah I think this'll be a hard game if it goes ahead. We aren't great on tough pitches as it doesn't suit our style of play. I'd take a point but we are fully capable of winning anywhere and we will be going for the points. I'm working tonight so won't watch it, but back for the big one at Torquay on Saturday.

Not very well, failed to score against the mighty Stones. They are a bit like Sutton a solid team defend well and efficient in all areas.

HAHAHAHartlepool have been working overtime in recent weeks to drum up some sort of rivalry with us, so expect a great wailing and gnashing of teeth when we send them home with their trousers round their ankles this evening. :ds:

The lads will have their fingers crossed that they can still cash in their £200 bonus come the end of the week, when we have our MotS against Sutton

Will be interesting to see the Kings Lynn team sheet tonight. Sounds like they have furloughed a few squad members. Wonder if it will be the high earners, or those deemed surplus to requirements anyway?

They only have three fit defenders even without the furlough stuff, so maybe we’ll score two goals tonight!

We must be confident of a win at Barnet, could end the day just outside the play-offs.

Nathan Ashmore must be breathing a sigh of relief that there aren't any fans in the ground tonight - he normally cops an earful from Stones supporters but fair play, he's pretty good at dishing it back out too.

I can't tell with this team - we've put in decent midweek performances vs. Torquay and Eastleigh recently but neither of them have somebody like Matt Rhead who I imagine is going to give our centre halves fits.

I have a feeling it will be another single or two goal defeat for us where the score line will make the game look closer than it actually was. Putting together a coherent move to create a goal scoring chance will be a major advance for us. If you look at the goals we have scored under Flowers, only our goal at Aldershot can be construed as having been created wholly by ourselves.
I want Flowers to drop the 4-3-3 formation and go for 4-4-2. At least it will give us a chance of keeping the ball better in midfield and our strikers won’t have to do lots of fruitless running about chasing lost causes.

This feels like a must win game for us if we're serious about putting our hat in the promotion talk. The last couple of games have me genuinely concerned about our performances though I have to say. Not sure what to expect tonight at all. Here's to hoping we actually try and use the midfield for this one
