The number of goals we've scored in open play this season is staggering. Probably the reason we don't even look as though we've practiced a set piece. On to Notts, where hopefully we can take advantage of their surprisingly persistent complacency. :ds:

Thoroughly deserved win. Dominated every stat and finally got the goals. 4 points off the play offs.
:fl::fl::fl::fl: So suddenly we're talking play-offs today are we. And we were brilliant too- why's that, because we won, huh? But I thought we had to win 4 in a row or we'd no chance? You clowns are so predictable. :ds:

Well deserved win in the end. Made hard work of it but good value for the 3 points. Do think Stones should have had a pen at the death but we’ve had some stonewall pens turned down this season so as they say, it evens out.
If Johnson had moved his arse and taken just a step off his goal line and claimed the ball, like every other keeper in the game would have done, we wouldn't even be talking about it.:dk:

It's Sutton's league, they have Barnet amount of games in hand.

They’ve as good a chance as anyone, but as with Torquay a couple of months ago, they’re on a run of form that doesn’t really feel sustainable at the minute. It wouldn’t be a massive surprise if they went on a similar run to Torquay’s current one at some point soon.

The width of this pitch.

You could almost have another game going on at the touchline.

1 game doesnt prove anything though does is you arsewipe. The table tells you we have been bang average results wise all season.

They are definitely in the driving seat, I wonder what Dosser is telling them to do about it.

I'd make them slight favourites, but to be honest I think any of them, Torquay, Hartlepool, Stockport, Notts and, christ, maybe even Chesterfield have got a decent chance. A lot might just come down to how well teams can cope with the impending fixture chaos.

I think you're probably right, it's how teams will adjust to the backlog. Sutton just keep churning results out though.

In terms of us, we don't have a massive squad like in previous years but the cover we have is just about enough. The fitness levels this year though are miles better than they have been, we have a pretty settled side and it's good to see we're not showing visible signs of tiredness despite the schedule

We'd probably win this if we took fatty off and replaced him with Jarvis.

Between that and the weird way the ball behaves on this surface....a disgrace.
I was saying watching it... It's no wonder they have such good home form. Its not really on they should be able to play on a pretend pitch that they'll have to remove if they actually play in the league. The rules of play should be really roughly the same

Not .sure who will take the pitch for us. we really could do with Dean Moxey at left back as makes the defence far better but doubt he will be there. Armani Little should be back in midfield but knowing him he will probably not. We do have Boden up front from Chesterfield which will help numbers.

Reckon we will cancel each other out and a draw . Unfortunately now unable to watch thde stream.
We are pretty bloody good.

Play offs are on.

I think you call that a classic defensive performance from us, Torquay play some good football but have absolutely nothing up front, 87 minutes before Killip had a save to make.
Pretty much sums it up, loads of possession no end product.

It’s mental that we’re even in the conversation... What a man James Rowe is

Good point for Wrexham though this if it stays this way. Bet not many clubs go and play on this carpet and come away with anything

Us and Boreham Wood today both showed why neither of us are troubling the promotion places. A lot of talent out on the pitch but both sides with a feeble mentality.

McMahon has been under pressure all season and rightly so. However, Garrard should be coming under a fair bit of criticism. He's always lauded as one of the best in the league but apart from one Play Off final, I would say he's underachieved with the money that he's had available to him. Tshimanga, Coulthrist, Marsh, Whitely... and then experience throughout the rest of the team, yet only 31 goals scored from 26 games. Had them down to go well this year and at present you'd say they're in Bromley territory for bottling any time they get close to a Play Off position.

Well that was a couple of hours I’ll never get back. No real positives to be taken from that other than not conceding.
4 draws in 5 live BT games under Matt Gray. Our record against the other teams in the playoffs leaves a lot to be desired.
